Hey Katie, I was going about 35 to 40 mph for most of the ride the fastest was 45 mph. There are settings on the bike like sport mode and throttle response also regeneration for the battery. I ride in sport mode with the throttle response turned up and regen off and the brake safety turned off. In the sand and on these trails I rode hard for 28 miles. You can adjust the settings in the app on your phone to match your riding style and to achieve more riding time/range. The sand will drain energy from the battery much faster that the harder packed trails. Hope this answers your questions. Thanks for asking!

Yes! It weighs about 30 pounds and you can remove it very easily.

can you carry and extra in a back pack in order to swap out while on trails? Also what is the range?

@@Williamb612 Ad, The batteries weigh 30lbs so carrying one in a back pack could be done but would not be something that is efficient or safe. And the range depends on your riding style and terrain. I get about 28 to 30 miles hard riding on rough terrain out of a full charge.

Emanuel, I don't know the laws and restrictions in the UK. Here the laws and restrictions are different in every county and city. Check with your local jurisdiction on the requirements and laws/rules because you don't want to be popped by the cop's😎

The pedal kit for the Sur Ron will also work for the Segway. It was designed and made to make these bikes street/trail legal to comply with local laws... They are not designed to pedal long distances. Hope this helps 😎

Cool thanks for the Insight can it actually move the bike though when you pedal so you could get home if the bike broke down?

@@shmack-dab-in-da-middle3960 yes it will move the bike. You could probably push it faster! The gearing is not really at the right ratio for riding just for getting around the laws. You will also loose ground clearance, when you use the pedal kit you need to remove the foot pegs and the pedals become your mounts for your feet. So to answer your Question yes you could ride home if it was a couple of blocks otherwise it would be faster and easier to push it. Knowledge is power you may find a kit that has a good ratio that would work for you. Check back and let me know what you find or come up with and share your findings.

Man that sucks😫I did have to make a new password and that was the only issue. You don't need the app to test it out and ride it. Do you show a charge? Is your headlight coming on? Need more info.

@@ocotillooutlaws4101 its showing 3 bars on the battery and the lights are turning on, even has a sticker on the bike that says i cant start the bike without connecting it to the app.

@@colsefolan6363Check to make sure you haven't actuated the tip over switch. This will also lock the bike out. You have lockout sensors on your brakes and kickstand also. Make sure you check all of your sensors. Tip over, kickstand and brakes! These all will cause your symptom. Let me know if any of these work for you.😎

Hey Murray! Every area has laws and restrictions. It depends on where you are located. Do your research and check with your local authorities to see what they may require. There are ways to make this street legal and trail compliant like adding a pedal kit.

Hey Joe! Thanks for your question. It really depends on how your parents feel on the issue. Sure you would be able to grow into it. There is also a x160 that may be a little lower and a good place to start your research. Try to find somebody that has one or a shop and go check it out in person to see if it's for you.

Also thinking about possibly getting a yamaha ttr 110 e, never have rode a dirt bike but really want to get into it may not ever be able to get into.it cause it's expensive and I do not think my family can afford it but thankyou,!!

@@joseph48235 Joe, Don't ever give up on your dreams.... If you want something there is always a way. My friends had dirt bikes and my family couldn't afford one for me either. I mowed lawns and saved up and started with a mini bike. Not what I really wanted at the time but I was riding! Keep the faith because you have the spirit!

Loran, Depending on your area and local laws and regulations you may need to have some form of plate or tag. Check with your authorities. Every country is different. Here this is classified as an electric motorcycle. To get around this a pedal kit may be installed. Bottom line is educate yourself know the laws, And ride like an Outlaw!

@@didaka5125 didaka, there are other components to the bike like suspension, brakes, tires and rims and they have their limitations also. Don't know about the frame breaking over 220 lbs. Good question for Segway. Now I'm going to go out and try to break mine by getting some air!

@@stop9005 it took me a year of waiting for the right time and the right bike. Start by checking the bikes out and see what fits your budget and riding style. Then try and test one out if you can. It's a big investment to make if your not sure yet. I have seen some good used ebikes on Craigslist too.

The price varies but the average retail is $4999.00 if you keep watching you can find them when they have a promotion or a limited sale.

Don't think so Doc.... Not anytime soon. With fuel prices going up and planned shortages of everything, it will be a long time before we see anything go down in price. Just be ready to jump on a deal when you see one. Look for used ones too!

@@ElectricStitchedRaven I haven't changed out either of those. I don't think the app would work with a different controller without additional programming or maybe not at all. This would be a good question for emoto bros or someone that has done several of these mods. Please share back here if you get a good response from somebody that has made this mod!

Abdullah, It all depends on what terrain you are riding on. Sand? Hard dirt? Hills? Flat? And your speed combined with your riding style. My terrain and riding style with the settings adjusted to allow full power I can achieve 25 to 32 miles in range. This will vary with different riders. سلام
