Mine is 42 years old and I wear it commercial diving and everyday. No matter what I'm doing; welding burning, beating on steel lol. I just washed the inside works with turpentine then rinsed it out with pure acetone. I looks like it's 45 instead of 42 years old but it keeps good time.
Tough call because I'm happy with my Orient Saturation Diver, which fills that niche. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't want the new version in the next year.
+Kev123G cheers don't think anyone else has done it. I recon it's a question alot of seiko fans ask themselves whether to step up from a sumo to a marinemaster. cheers
Fantastic review!! Please keep up the great work... 2 questions; where did you buy you're watch boxes & secondly you mentioned a seiko antique dealer can you tell me is there anyone you know of who is good for buying seiko vintage? Cheers
thanks. I think I mentioned antique watch dealer. there are a few online so Google is your friend👍 the best watch box I have is on the left and I think I got it via Amazon

I currently only own one seiko and I'm torn between one of their nicer divers and a sarb 017. The mm300 range are real quality but I think the bracelets aren't as well put together as the watch itself
Just had you tube on Auto play while Im working. 6105!!! Have you acquired a SRP777 since then? haha. How about a collection update a year on? Very nice collection mate!
The 6105 and the mm300 are stunning, dare I say it the mm300 out subs the submariner. The. Only one in your collection I'm not a fan of is the monster I find them a young mans watch and I'm a middle aged fart. How much is the retail on the mm300?
thanks Neil. yep, the mm300 gets more wrist time than my sub! I just have that one monster and yes I agree, they suit younger wrists. for that reason I recently sold my other LE blue Monster.
+Kev123G Hi, great collection of Seiko divers. I see you say you sold your Blur Monster , was it an original first generation Blue Monster (SKZ213)? If so do you mind telling me how much you got for it. I have one, had it nearly 10 years and I've been wondering how much there worth now, there's not much on the net about them. Totally understand if you don't want to divulge this information. Thanks.
+Kev123G Thanks for the reply, yes it is that watch. Like I say though there's not much on the net about it, it came out around the same time as the even rarer yellow monster.
