In what appears to be a strict cash grab, Seiko has released these two new sport models that are re-issues of the Fifty Fathoms series, like the old SNZH55. These SRPK97 and SRPK99 models are now available.

Like the old better, for nostalgic reasons, but movement upgrade should point to the new one. They're all exellent, I'm sure.

Twice the price but the build quality is way better so its worth it in all honesty. Build quality meaning the steel, cuts and shape as well as polishing is better.

Well, I like this watch. My favorite watches the blancpain 50 fathoms. There are several micro brands that have a version.But I really like it.

How bout the eyes just bring the SKX back? Don’t make it Seiko 5. Just plain ol’ SKX. Classic. The J version from Japan too!

Seiko 5, wannabe SKX!!! Great for beginners as entry pieces but not enthusiasts or collectors. Specs and quality downgraded too much, not worth prices.
