The Seiko Street Fighter 5 Limited Edition SRPF20 is encased in 42.5mm of DLC black stainless steel surrounding a black dial on a red textile strap. Features of this Seiko 5 include hours, minutes, seconds, bilingual day, and date. This Seiko watch also measures 13.3mm in thickness and 45.9mm from lug-to-lug.

I try to cover all types of watch on this channel. Most of the time, that means something expensive, because that's mostly what we stock. But the Sport 5 is an interesting and fun watch that was enjoyable to share. Best, Tim

It's like a cheap Swatch version of SKX007. It's a dive watch with no luminescence and a paltry 100m water resistance, a formula 1 car with with a lawnmower engine. At least the date/day window matches the dial.

At least lawnmower engines run forever, unlike formula 1. 0-60 on any watch is the same.

@@statuswan All analogies break down at some point, which is why they're analogies. Copying the aesthetics of a dive watch without the actual diving chops is lame (I bet the bezel on this piece is unidirectional -- as if it's going to be used as a life-saving tool -- for extra lame points). Why pretend to be a dive watch at all? There are so many cooler things a watch could pretend to be.

@@nathancortes3722 I get what you're putting down. I'm just saying there's a place in watches for a cheap, low maintenance reliable movement (lawn mower). In my opinion, nobody is buying this as a dive watch. They buy this because they like street fighter. Seiko does tons of fun collabs like this and I'm glad they do.

@@statuswan The movement isn't my issue with this watch, it's actually the fact it presents itself as a diver. The Street Fighter theme is perfectly fine, that's also not the issue. A watch that looks like a diver without actually having the required diver credentials, that's like fitting a spoiler onto a lawnmower :'D
