I love the Seiko Tuna, it is a tool watch but very beautiful at the same time. I have already seen it on your wrist in almost every video in the past two months. The tuna is my grail watch. Even though I can get it, I’m not sure I want to yet. I’m afraid my watch journey will end. Seeing a tuna in its element is a rare sight. Glad you don’t baby yours!

@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces That video was lost with the first channel... that was in Italy on Dragon Island where we went snorkelling in those caves :))) Was on the GPR-B1000 Rangeman testing it... damn, that has brought some good memories back, and pleased you saw that video :) Looking forward to your next travelling videos... and to add, I have watched the rest of your video, and I agree, quartz in a Diver's watch just gives you that little more confidence... I only use two watches in the sea, SEIKO SUN021 which is a Quartz kinetic and my GWF-D1000 Frogman, as the sea waters are nasty and loves to corrode in minutes, so wouldn't take a lovely new Turtle in the sea :-P The Frogman is by far the best sea watch I own, as bezels do get stuck and need a hot bath to release them again... if left for a week, then it can be horrendous, as stainless steel can rust/corrode... titanium is better, but the parts in the bezel aren't. The sea waters are very aggressive, and have lost some nice watches from it, well not lost, but never cleanup like it was new. I've not owned a true TUNA SEIKO, and if my SUN021 ever fails, then that would be one to consider, but has to be quartz :))) Cheers!
I'll definitely add an auto too at some point. Ever since picking up this one I've been going down the Tuna rabbit hole in a big way. Something so great about them.
Bob this is really a cool video. Your Seiko Tuna is awesome. I have a Seiko Baby Tuna on the way . Model number SBDY055. I’m super excited to get this watch in . Earlier this year I purchased the latest Antarctica Monsters SBDY115 and SBDY105. I’ve always wanted the baby tuna and finally have one incoming.

Hey Bob, thanks for another enjoyable video - that Tuna really looks great on you and I'm glad it is working out well for you after a couple of months of putting it through its paces. I wish I had the wrist for the Tuna but it just didn't work out for me.

Interesting video. That ship looked very strange. I looked it up, it from 1914, but it was originally a ferry, it was made to look like a 16th century sailing ship. I have the JDM version, I personally really like it. The Stainless Bezel looks really good with the bracelet, almost like it’s one piece.
I'd read that too. Neat to be able to see it up close. I love that it has the steel insert too. I'm going to try a few strap options but I've really enjoyed it on the bracelet. Thanks!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces No problem. Mine only picked up about 1 second since I got it end of April. I did really think the ship looked strange, especially having a steel guardrail on it. I am interested too see what it looked like as a ferry.
