The greatness of Seinfeld is Larry David’s ability to set up multiple storylines that all come together in an unexpected and hilarious way. You won’t appreciate that through clips.

Seinfeld is one of the greatest shows ever! It is just hard to explain it to someone who hasn't seen it. The clips just take you back to that episode, because every episode was iconic in itself. So you laugh because you know the whole story.

Wayne Knight (Newman) can also be seen playing the conniving, money hungry, little miscreant, Dennis Nedry, in the original Jurassic Park movie. Also, as Officer Don Orville, in the TV comedy show Third Rock From The Sun. This series of video clips is useless to anyone who is not a fan, or has not seen, any of the Seinfeld episodes. In Seinfeld, he plays a U.S. Postal Service delivery man, who is the arch nemesis of Jerry (And vice-versa). They have an acute disdain for each other, and that is why they always greet each other with a contemptuous "Hellooo, Jerry/Newman!" Binge watch it if you can.

Dunno if DAZ has seen Larry David's show "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO, but it is insanely funny and is both more subtle but also more unhinged at times than Seinfeld. The character of George on Seinfeld was based directly on Larry David who was also Jerry's friend.

Jerry still gets $50-80 million a year in show residuals. Netflix paid $450 million for modern worldwide rights. This is why we have so many commericals in U.S. so not sure how other countries can afford to run these without commericals. It gets complicated. Thats how big the show was...

Seinfeld is one of those shows that you can always go back to and watch again and again and again, never gets old. Coupled with the fact that each character no matter how small has played their part to perfection, some of the best characters are tiny parts in the show. A testament to the pedantic nature of Larry David in my opinion.

6:48 This was from the series finale. Basically they were found guilty of violating a good samaritan law. I think there was a fat guy getting mugged and they just stood by making fun of him. The whole point of the trial was to have this endless string of character witnesses talk about why all the main characters were bad people. It was just a chance to bring back characters from the entire run of the series.

He is right. You need to watch Seinfeld which ran from 1989 to 1998. It is still running in various countries at any given time. You need to learn all the characters and situations to get the comedy bits. Just watching this compilation for someone that does not know the episodes will not do it justice. To this day, I still quote some of the things they said on the show in various situations that I find myself in. When you eventually get around to watching Seinfeld, do yourself one huge favor. Watch them in sequence. It will make more sense that way since things that happen sometimes refer back to previous events. This isn't always the case, of course, but it'll help the experience. And it might take about ten or twenty episodes before you really start to appreciate it. It's not really until season four (the NBC pilot season) that it hits high gear, which it maintains for about three more years. The last two seasons are a bit different since the co-creator of the series left and the stories got a bit sillier. Also, just so you understand...Jerry and Newman were enemies but Kramer and Newman were good friends and often did things together.

7:10 They were on a trip to Paris on a small private plane, but Kramer had water stuck in his ear and by trying to get it out on the plane, caused them to have to do an emergency landing in a small town in Massachusetts. They were video recording when they watched a guy get mugged. Instead of helping, they made fun of him. And this violated the "good samaritan law" (which some places adopted in the US after no one trying to help when Princess Diana died) and sent them to court and then prison. It was the last episode.
