This scene with Elaine and Mr. Pitt is totally ruined by the 16:9 crop. The whole point of the scene is Mr. Pitt's socks, which have been cropped out of the scene almost entirely.
Seinfeld was originally shot on 4:3 aspect ratio film. For the HD rescan, they chose to crop a 16:9 ratio within the original frame instead of releasing it on the original 4:3 ratio. This sometimes adds a little bit of video to the left and right sides (which was originally left out of the show), but often crops out much of the original scene. This is similar to what happened did with The Simpsons, but at least Disney+ gives the option to view the original 4:3. There is no option for Seinfeld, your only option is the original DVD releases.
Release an HD version of the original 4:3 on Blu-ray!
