I had my first and second seizure I was twenty I was on tegretol now in my 50s they started again put me on keppra and two other medications not sure if it's still completely under control I've been still feeling a little bit funny now it's scary to me too have a kid now and want to be around to seem to grow up make a difference in his life.
This scares me. The thought of me just doing basically anything and then waking up in an ambulance or on the floor without any warning it scares me. Plus in the uk if you have a seizure you can’t drive for 2 years so :|
I also have seizures, I have really bad drop attacks and have to wear a helmet. I also have seizures, I have really bad drop attacks and have to wear a helmet.💡
Your comments are perfect. I have had this same illness since I was 13 years. I am now 58. Your comment on the feeling scared after is spot on. My situation is a everyday trial. Just a piece of advice. Meds are a must, to help control it. Take it day to day. One step at a time. 🙂
Omw I cannot imagine how you must feel! People can be so rude sometimes. I mean it's not your fault that you have epilepsy or something you did that caused it. I am sure you are such an amazing person! Their opinions and remarks are not valid AT ALL. Try to focus on who you are. You are so loved and even though there are mean people there are also a lot of people that care so much about you! And God cares so much about you aswell! (Sorry for this tangent it just upset me that you are getting bullied for something you cannot help at all) Anyway I hope you have and amazing day!
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and making this video! I am now 37 days seizure free and no medication after 19 years! I've always been too afraid to get pregnant .I'm so happy for you!
@@roseyapril6480 I have two beautiful children, had grand mal seizures while pregnant with my eldest, had c sections with both, and both my kids are extremely smart and very healthy and totally normal and don't have epilepsy. Don't be scared of having kids.
I was diagnosed with Photosensitive Epilepsy when I was 2 and had my Brain Tumor surgically removed when I was 8. It’s very common for Seizures to be caused by Brain Tumors. Photosensitivity doesn’t really bother me much.
How do you take my medicine on time everyday I know it's supposed to build up in your system if you forget to take it for about an hour or something like that you should still be controlled but I get feelings like I almost there but not really having a real breakthrough I'm like you it's scary
