I always love how normal this run looks at the start. Sure it’s out of order, but it’s all pretty base game. Then you get mibu and the game turns into subnautica.
@@XDragonrotX There's a lot more air swimming he could have done, but I'm surprised that so much of the game is faster without it. Usually as soon as a viable OOB trick is discovered, the whole run revolves around it.
got this recommanded randomly, huge gg, man is doing bugs i've been trying myself to reproduce for hours in a second, first try, is fluid and knows perfectly what he's doing. you gotta respect that
This is beyond impressive, and also extremely infuriating to watch. I’ve had this game for about 4 months and just seeing how this man destroys the norms of what to do and fly right past areas I’ve been stuck on for literally weeks makes me feel some type of way lol. gg bro. This is insane
This game starts out super hard and rapidly gets progressively easier and easier as you get better Plus, you're trying to beat the game on ITS terms, instead of bending the laws of physics to your will and swimming through the air like Superman lol. Different goals.
@@IloveGorgeousGeorge you’re not lying. After I posted this, within about a day I started flying through the game and have done 3 play throughs since. The boss I struggled with the most and still struggle to get perfect is DoH. Dudes an absolute nightmare to fight lol
@@johnnyyy_wentghost the biggest thing you can do to help yourself with DoH is to sprint at all times. Any time he creates distance between you, sprint to his left leg (your right) immediately. Hug his leg and attack between his attacks when there are openings. Also, get the Suzaku Lotus Umbrella which will negate every single fire attack of his, as well as the Red Gourd which removes burn and gives you resistance to it. If you cant get close to him fast enough, he'll fling fireballs at you, which can be blocked instantly with the umbrella, then you can scoot forward and counterattack him with the Projected Force skill. If you can't figure out the timing of his jump explosion, you can hold umbrella through it until the blast clears afterwards, and counter attack with Projected Force again. Pop your Ceremonial Tanto right at the beginning of the fight and use a Pellet to heal the health back. It also REALLY helps if you have the Malcontent finger whistle. Each use stuns him for about 10-12 seconds the first two times, then about 6 seconds the third time. You can only use it three times. As soon as phase 3 starts, activate an Ako's Sugar or Yashariku, then immediately use Malcontent to stop his perilous fire arena move he does, then fucking wail on him until it stops, then pop it again, attack 10-11 times, then use it a third time and attack 4-6 times. You can pretty well obliterate his third phase health bar as soon as it starts with this method. I would also recommend starting the fight with Ako's and Divine Confetti, and activating just Ako's after each death blow for the incoming phase. The more damage you do, the less time you need to survive because the fight is shorter. Another big tip is utilize your pellets and your rice to save on Gourd uses, and don't run away to heal. Get behind him to do it and do it after he's finished an attack animation. I used to hate this fight, but I've killed him probably 15-20 times and I've come around to liking it. You got this dude!!! Update me if you beat him
it's absurd how easy you made this look. i've done that ogre skip once and it took me around 500ish tries i wanna say. the fact that there were skips here like the guardian ape that made the ogre skip look like child's play is baffling to me. bravo man the amount of dedication you have is insane, well deserved.
thank you for the kind words! yeah there’s a lot more than meets the eye for this run that’s for sure, sadly ogre skip kinda gatekeeps alot of people from learning it
What's that jumping thing you do at the start and towards the mortal blade acquisition? Is there some way mashing that out is somehow faster than just running?
