And I used to think bite down was useless. Amazing outside the box thinking. Making use of near every tool and technique. Incredible mastery of this game sir
Super useful for bosses. If an enemy kills you, you have to kill them before you can recharge and use your revive again. Use bite down before your killed (first life) and can get a chance at reviving again.
@@armonraphiel4028 it's moderately useful. If you're just using it like you said, then effectively it is at best a half health bar of heal, or an extra gourd. However, death gets rid of status effects, too, which is particularly helpful against Great Shinobi Owl and certain mini-bosses.
Same for purple fame firecracker. The stat is too little and the delay is thought useless. But Ongbal uses it to stun enemy at the right time to makes some combo works such as empowered mortal draw
Absolutely beautiful. I never thought to use the whistle from the ledge like that to make Lone Shadows look like such chumps. The shuriken+chasing slice to take down shinobi hounds was a great tactic too that I’m definitely going to use. I don’t know how many hours I’ve played this game and I didn’t know that tiny red guy was hanging on the wall down near the broken bridge. I think it would be really cool if Fromsoft added a mode in their next game or someone made a mod that would grade your performance on a level/area like in Tenchu or Metal Gear to encourage more players to play this way. Have you ever considered doing 2 v 1 fights? You’re the only player I think could do it without excessive kiting or cheesing. Sparring with 2-3 Lone Shadows at once is really fun but I can never do it without taking damage.
A many-to-one fight is definitely possible, but it is very difficult to control unless it is an overpower strat such as a Mortal Blade spamming(in this case, many-to-one fight become meaningless). If not, many-to-one fight easy to become messy rather than cool. So.. I think I need to thought a lot about this for better fight.
It's fun to do battle on our own way while playing sekiro, and once its done its time to do this the ongbal way. By that way its challanging and really entertaining to play sekiro again and again . Thanks ongbal for the videos keep making exploration videos.
Hey, Ongbal! I just played Sifu, and I found so many similarities between that game and Sekiro, especially on Parrying/Deflecting system and posture bar. While I played that game, just imagined what you can do with that insanely skilled you are on Sekiro with Sifu already made me so excited. So, it would be great if you try that game out, and upload your gameplay videos!!
The concept of a shura in this game is that of a large and loud flaming beast, but I'd like to think that the shura form of sekiro is a shadow that you never see until it's too late.
This is how i imagine isshin earned the title “demon of ashina” when he walks around as the tengu killing ministry soldiers (even tho he is not a shinobi and likely takes on all enemies face to face)
I love your stealth gameplay videos , btw instead of using bite down at 2:25 u could hide behind the door and stealth deathblow both of them (although your technique is correct as well but not everyone is able to survive against these guards without resurrection 😂😂😜) Edit : what's that assassin talking about btw ? 9:03
The nightinjar ninjas usually roam around the ashina castle roofs, especially near the couple of towers near the pool. To allow the longshadows and also owl in with less fighting, he baited them to the old grave - serpent valley bridge area, leaving only a few of them. The one nightinjar is killed somewhere near the 5 red hat dwarfs in the roofs and one is at the exit after loneshadow vilehand. And the place is now infested with loneshadhows, shinobis of interior ministry
Even though I know most (if not all) of the things about Sekiro, I never imagined there would be several eavesdropping options and different enemies located at different places. Thanks Ongbal, you've helped me broaden my Sekiro knowledge 💜💜💜
Dude... your movements are so fluid and precise... ggs Although u missed the guy at the serpentine ( sunken valley entrance - it is actually a small boss fight so i'm not sure if it's on purpose or not )
If you have time, I'd really like to see a short guide (maybe with slow motion) on the most difficult boss fights. Sadly, not all of us are as good as you and despite watching your videos, many (like me) have still some difficulties understanding a few things
Immaculate display of utter massacre at that hand of one so talented indeed. :) It's as if the entirety of Ashina cried in unison, but were quickly silenced.
I just bought the game this week. My first doesnt look like this. I like exploring around. Maybe after l get lots of useful skill, then it could be like this
Imagine an armless dude with a tengu mask just swinging and flying around like sengoku spiderman, taking out security like it's a morning walk. Terrifying.
After playing Elden Ring, Sekiro just feels much more fluid in my opinion, I am really surprised how much great features from Sekiro are missing in Elden Ring... :/
Hey Ongbal, I had an interesting idea for future boss fights. Do you know if it’s possible to have the camera follow the boss from its POV? If so, it would be cool to see how terrifying it is to face Sekiro the way you play him. Love the vids as always
@@paulkwiatkowski1969 No, I have not watched it yet, but Ongbal has played also Dark Souls, I think it would be interesting seeing a gameplay in Bloodborne.
those stealth gameplay show your incredible knowledge of the game, great job Ongbal, you always make me suprise. big Fan of you. Quick question, how many hours you spent at this game ?
Now this is what I believe a Shinobi is like. Quick, efficient, and no hesitation. Using every tool and skill he has on him. Very well done, a true master Shinobi.
Both the combat and the stealth in Sekiro reward high-octane aggressive action, which is especially interesting in the latter's case given that stealth in games is typically slow and methodical. I have great respect for your style of play and especially your skill. This is how Miyazaki dreamed his masterpiece looked when he slept; you have brought that dream to life.
Another one! These Stealth Gameplay videos are some of my favorite that you make. They’re so cool, to see all the neat ways you traverse the environment to stay in stealth. Also, can you link me the mod you use to get rid of pop-ups? You didn’t get the pop-ups for the coin purses after killing the mini-bosses. The one I found didn’t work. (Hopefully I didn’t just install it incorrectly or something…)
That jump to get the deathblow on Ogre was really impressive. Using ledge hangs and finger whistle to get stealth kills on the Long Shadows was just showing off. I never would have thought to do that.
This is the my favorite movie series. You sir are not only godly skilled, You're an artist that any game is lucky to have you turning it into a satisfying piece of art.
Seeing a lot of combat video, sometimes watch some stealth gameplay is really interresting, show more how good the gameplay and environment design form FormSolfWare are.
