@@MostlyFish21 Yeah i thought so. I just recently played the game and had some problems with isshin. I went to youtube to see how to best approach him. And in some cases they said: "Just stay aggressive and on him and he won't be able to pull out his spear". It didn't work you get two or three hits in max then you get knocked back and he pulls out the spear. So you can't interrupt it anymore.
@@anthonyiodice Its the high monk technique. It got nerfed recently but hitting him with that after an unblockable sweep attack does stupid posture damage.
Yea, he loves Ashina so much that even if Sekiro dies he just goes back to the place where he stood in the cutscene, instead of just going to save Ashina
Yep. last patch massively nerfed the posture damage the first kick did, even when countering sweeps, and gave a bit to the rest of the skills' combos. Even taking the rest of the combo into account now, they're no where near as powerful
@@thedarkgenious7967 It was literally doing half of a bosses posture bar... it was a broken ability. You didnt even have to pull "High Monk" Technically all you had to do was Leaping kick.
@@tomasdelcampo2 rip high monk then, but i did hear that the posture damage was a bit more evened out around the move rather than all theposture damage being done on the initial hit
Fun-fact about the Ishin fight: You will notice that at the end, sekiro seems to botch the decapitation. However, this may be a reference to a practice in seppuku, where someone would assist by partially decapitating the one to die, easing their pain. The idea is to leave the head still attached, while severing the spine. There is a rumor of someone who failed in this, completely removing the head, then proceeding commit seppuku himself.
The Japanese were unique in how they punished themselves for a mistake they made accidentally And by unique I mean completely batshit insane and unnecessary
@@AtomicCowZKD nerfed high monk, but he's OP for NG+ and without the added difficulty. I'm in NG+2 with demon bell and no kuro charm and i'm not going to break 33 before ending it with all boses cleared. LOL. Still fun to watch video. Oh yeah I saw your NG+7 stuff. Great stuff man!
Pro tip, on the guardian ape, you can stand inside the radius of the screech by using the umbrella prosthetic, prevents damage and terror build up, if you have projected force it adds to it with an attack upon deactivation of the umbrella after the screech.
@@JeremiKress I always end up switching over to mortal draw when I run out of emblems so that it doesn't consume them. After the patch it's super viable.
when this game is played to perfection... its just like a samurai movie. beautiful [Edit] ....okay maybe not all the fights Poor monkaS never has a chance. But the Geni fights with the flying kicks are like a dance.
I really like the fact that you can fight those humanoid bosses head on instead of always having to jump or roll to get behind them and pierce their butt, that's refreshing, it feels more like a real duel instead of a video game fight.
@Alexander Luchezarnyj attack power? In the software you can arrange everything.Normaly when you hit you can take 1 or 2 percent of it's health but in the software you can make this 25 percent, then you only have to hit 4 times and gone is the boss like in this video. Look at the boss'es they are so slow, also that you can fix with the software then you can use firecrackers afther aechother.Do you really think this is possible without the software
You are seriously one of the best I’ve seen at this game. Just under 25 mins wow. Massive respect and amazing job! You are so incredible at this game! ❤️🔥😍
@@orkwurm Yeah they patched Senpou high kick so that the first kick does significantly less posture damage, while overall increasing posture damage done when landing consecutive hits. Makes sense seeing pretty much every boss fight this is effective against.
I don't think it's really the Confetti doing all the damage here, but that Sugar. It halves your health and posture, in exchange for monster damage to enemies. You just gotta make sure not to get hit, or you may be one-shot.
TheTalonKing Divine Confetti actually has been proven to slightly increase damage values on all enemies, not just Apparitions. It’s only minimal, but it definitely stacks up with the sugars/spiritfalls. www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/Sekiro/comments/bbk49x/psa_divine_confetti_its_damage_increase_on_all/
@@thetalonking7233 it's not confetti, nor sugar: as he said in description he played ng1 with 35/45 ap, so he just powerfarmed, since i just finished ng4 and i got 40 ap
I didnt know why people were having a hard time on bosses until i realized that i was using High monk and that it was OP. Lmao it got nerfed now though
Let's take a minute to appreciate what a masterpiece Sekiro is, with so many different ways to fight each boss, gorgeous graphics and the colossal differences in gameplay depending on your skill level. Fromsoft made me a fan for life.
I shamefully admit I quit on this game. The first game ever in my life that I quit on. It was too hard and me dying so much just didn’t bring anymore joy for me. It’s no the games fault it’s me for sucking..... The last boss I stop on was the bold samurai after the butterfly lady. I’ll just wait for Ghost of Tsushima. 😔
@@borkguy9629 i agree brotha have some patients think how a shinobi thinks if you hesitate then its death practice practice practice that's how you will be better
No shame in that, the game is very repetitive and limited on what you can do to each boss so it's just boring. I was so hyped before release because of another FS game that i ordered CE, and was severly disappointed about it. Besides, winning with bosses doesn't give you any satisfaction, instead you feel like you just exhaust trough another annoying obstacle. I at least wanted to finish the game with bad ending, so i killed Emma, then Isshin kills me and after the first try i never came back. It's definitely the worst FS game for me. How's Ghost of Tsushima? It has some flaws but i really liked it.
She is only a Boss if you choose to obey Owl and stick to the "Iron Code" (Causes the SHURA ending and is literally quickest ending to the game of the 4 endings cause you miss like half the game.)
@THEGAMEREYES I know it's been a while, but I just started jumping on Sekiro again on next gen, and I *Think Bestowal on the enemies before the Demon of Hatred kills them will shave time off that first phase. Bestowal and Mortal Draw timed with the Stun he has every 3rd of health you relinquish absolutely melts him. (awesome shit, I've seen your other videos too. Godlike boss mapping skills man! The Invul frame awareness, everything, AAA) 🙏🏽🥷🏽🥷🏽
Afrosenju: rage quits 2 times and it takes multiple videos to take the guardian ape out. Gamer eyes: takes the ape out in 20 seconds Shoutout to afrosenju he’s awesome
I didn’t know you could do the final death blow on the ape after you got the shinobi execution and i went back looking for prayer beads and found hin laying there
Yes, it does extra health and pose damage to all enemies, and also allow you to block more incoming elements/terror effects. Not to meantion, able yo hit any foe -- even if the go into "ghost mode".
