Great run! Was literally re-watching Aggy's 2020 run when I discovered this was happening. Missed the live, but still amazing to watch. Love both the runners.
I beat lies of p twice twice!! And I still can't get 0ast the butterfly lady.. in sekiro I know it'd optional but I've went back to her before u do the boss on the roof with the reverse lighting dodge is gotten.. so I quit but lies of p no problem ... am I just a failure? Any tips
Stay agressive and hit her with shuriken when she jumps up in the air. Also when the 1st phase is done, stand by the big statue while facing the door and she will spawn in front of you, letting you get free hits in. Good luck friend, you can do it!
You can knock her out of the air with a well timed shurikan (almost as soon as she leaves the ground) which leaves her open to a few uncontested hits to fill the posture quickly. Like all enemies in sekiro don’t lay off the pressure
You’re not a failure just because you’re struggling with a game. Lady Butterfly took me ages to get better at fighting, and I still struggle a bit with her. You can prepare by making sure you get as many prayer beads and gourd seeds as possible, and that you have some snap seeds too. In terms of the actual fight, it’s a matter of recognizing her move set. I don’t know how much I can help you without knowing where you’re struggling. A lot of the first phase consists of getting her in a strike-strike-parry loop, and slowly working her posture down, getting hits in when possible. Second phase is a lot hard. Because of the annoying unblockable projectiles, a lot of my strategy consists of running away from her so I can avoid most of the attacks. You can use the same strike-strike-parry strategy in this phase, but when she disengages it’s harder to re-engage. This is also where the snap seeds are crucial. There are other moves she has that you can learn how to deal with, but I’m not going to go over all of them until I know what you need help with. That’s the best I can do in terms of general advice, not sure if you need anything more specific.
