Mike Wlodarski kudos to you for being able to wait but from what we’ve seen so far from previews and youtubers actually playing the game I don’t think activision messed up too much on this
I'm 53 years old, playing games since 1997, absolutely adored Souls games (loved Nioh too), and after seeing this trailer I'm biding farewells to my family and friends cause I'll be going to medieval Japan very soon.....
The Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne are the only games I've never got rid of. After seeing this trailer, Sekiro will be added to the list. I absolutely love From Software.
To be honest The Witcher 3, Soulsborne and Sekiro, though more specifically TW3 and perhaps Sekiro are the true vanguard, the cutting edge top-quality games ever made, literally imho. I need to test out Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PRO as well. Personally Bloodborne would enter the list, but can't say it for the market thou.
@David Holden If the Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne are the only games you've never gotten rid of, then I honestly don't know what to think of that. Your either incredibly peculiar/jaded, or you just haven't played many games in general. There's hundreds of thousands of gems out there.
I love this game. Sekiro probably has the best combat mechanism in any swordfighting games. Too shame it didn't get dlc, yet it is still a masterpiece.
Still seething we never got a proper DLC about Tomoe, but I'll take what I can get, the new boss rushes with the super cracked new versions of the 3 main bosses was a neat discovery when I got back to Sekiro.
I say it: This was the best game ive ever played in my 20 years of gaming. Ive never seen or had more fun with a boss battle, never was i encouraged to search the entire world to give me some slight advantage and every victory felt earned. After hours and hours of trying a specific hurdle, you feel every little bit of your own skill becoming better and better. The entire game is magnificant from beginning to end.
My controller has already grown feet and moved from my last placed location. Probably huddled in a corner somewhere cowering for dear life. Once I find it though, I won't be merciful.
Please explain why you two take poor care of your controllers. Of all my years of playing video games, I never threw or slammed my controller. I honestly suggest that you both take anger management classes. For two reasons, 1. Controllers are very fragile. 2. When someone gets so mad over a video-game enough to physical throw something when your by them makes it extremely uncomfortable, especially if they throw their controller. Just some advice, I hope you heed it.
@@rolan4dezwinz381 I highly suggest you look up gamer rage. Even Fortnite rage. Makes us look like child's play. Those are the ones who truly need help.
@@rolan4dezwinz381 no I don't throw my controllers or break them. But what I have done though is wore them enough by playing them that their thumb pads started revealing plastic and one of the buttons stopped working (essentially broken at that point). And my comment was purely for comedic purposes lol. I don't spend much of my time on my ps4 like I used to. I am more on pc now sine I have gotten decent hardware. In any case though, I don't rage at all. I am one of the most emotionless gamers out there.
Watching a lot of initial playthroughs, a lot of people are saying it’ll be much harder to get no-hit playthroughs with the combat style and pace of the game. Hopefully that’s true.
Marketing: dude what do we have to show people out there to make them interested in Sekiro? Dev: here let me play, record that then make a trailer out of it...
This game requires patience, timing, a failure to learn and get better. One of the most rewarding and challenging games I’ve ever played. Masterpiece. 👏🏻
Last week I got my platinum in this game Imagine that every frame in this trailer is actually in the gameplay, you can do every move in this trailer . What a masterpiece In my opinion this game has the best combat system in gaming history . The feel you got after any Deflect or Mikiri counter is amazing. Thank you From Software. Now waiting for your Elden Ring
It will be different because of the Japanese setting and music plays when u fight normal enemies. I'm confident in them to make a great soundtrack that fits with the game
if anyone had told me a few years back that a game published by activision would be my most anticipated game in 2019....... I would've cut them with my stare

This trailer has to be one of the most well made ive ever seen. it just looks so badass. that geni 4 arrow jump shot attack is still one of the coolest moves ive ever seen..
i can imagine IF there will be bloodborne 2, it will be a launch title for the ps5. Probably the next big game fromsoft will make. I really love Bloodborne and it's actually my favorite of them all. I would totally love to have MORE Bloodborne. BUT i geuss the other people are right. it probably wouldn't really live up to the expectations. But what i would love instead would be another horror souls game. Maybe something more like silent hill but with the usual combat system. Actually i wouldn't care what it would be but i would prefer something horror like. bloodborne was such a masterpiece.
@@na-Baron Hmm. Well, the cutscene looks a lot like in-game to me. From what I remember, they used to have lip syncing in the hi-res cutscenes but not the in game cutscenes. Either way I can't wait to play this game!!!!
I will never understand people who claim Elden Ring is supposed to be FromSoftware's best game when Sekiro exists - unless they haven't played Sekiro (or Bloodborne for that matter).
Must be 12. Too young to realize how wrong you are. Borderlands, one of the BIGGEST games ever had a 2 weeks launch curtain. Came to a surprise for many.

Still waiting for the DLC 😭 Edit: There now is now a “free DLC” coming in October. Sadly there isn’t much info other than a Boss-rush mode and a few unlockable skins. Since it’s free we can’t complain but let’s hope we see something similar to “Ringed City” or “Hunter’s Nightmare” in the future!
Lucasmmota I’m praying that Lord Miyazaki gives an announcement with the October “free DLC”. We don’t have much more info other than a bossrush mode (maybe similar to Fallen Order’s rush mode) and some skins. Maybe they will make the Tomoe DLC free since they got GOTY?
