After killing the first Guardian ape go back to ashina Depths
Go in with the Umbrella lilac. Makes it a lot easier, so you can stay in the Headless terror scream and block all his attacks

If you Fought the sunken Valley Ape before, then you have to kill them, before you can go further. You can go trough this Area before fighting the sunken Valley Ape. If you done that, then he is not in there and its an optional fight for you.

yea umbrella and living force is really nice. After open the umbrella press R1/RB deals more damage if you hit him from behind :)

You mean the Shield?it can be unlocked after the sunken valley main Boss. 🙂

Holy...I knew the Umbrella was good when people talked about it but thats OP! Did it also block the poo poo? Though you missed alot of easy hits and counters with you using the Umbrella but it shows you can do both!

You need Living force to do that. Press Rb/R1 after you opened the Umbrella. :)

No its not part of the story. You can go trough there before he is in there. If you haven't fought the Sunken Valley Ape before then he is optional and you will miss him.

@@Kuttinski but you have to fight him the first time regardless to get that item(I wont spoil what it is) for Kuro. So no matter what you *then* have to fight him again to get to the "village"(again no spoilers)

I think he means you can go to hidden forest and find sculptor's idol there. After you killed the Sunken Valley Ape, you can travel to hidden forest without fighting two apes.
