I struggled against O’Ren of the lake. I later learned that sabimaru is more effective against women in the lore, so if you’re fighting her, use the sabimaru
yeah, sabimaru works nice on her. though these days i cant help but cheese her for the fun of it. in my recent cheese guide, she doesn't attack at all, so maybe next time i'll poison her and just see if she dies.
Great video! My list is: 1- umbrella ( coolest shield i have ever seen in a video game, the 2 animations of wolf bring it back to his prosthetic arm after usage is so graceful) 2- mist raven ( the Contact medicine item + everything you said ) 3- shuriken
All the different rankings of prosthetics go to show they are pretty balanced and serve to diversify playstyles in a game with only one weapon. Everyone can find a way to use their favourite prosthetic and there isnt one that is completely overpowered. I wish the game gave you more max spirit emblems however, since you run out of them pretty quickly.
Placing the umbrella lower because of an optional difficulty setting isn’t great imo. I just went to new game plus and I kept Kuros charm cause I didn’t want to deal with more difficulty
Fair point, but it is only my opinion. maybe you'd feel different about it if you tried a charmless run. it also gives you 20% more gold and exp so there are some perks to it.
Don't feel overwhelmed bro. I was once where you are. just take your time and enjoy. you'll get there eventually. you don't have to use everything either, just use what you like.

@juicybossfights yo I'm a new player and this game beats my ass xd I have beaten elden ring so many times that seikro is pretty hard for me to play any tips on how to get good at the game
@@TheGamingNoisestart to memorize and get used to the attack patterns of most enemies/bosses. If you learn which frames you can interrupt by delaying your attacks instead of spamming then certain bosses like genichiro and even owl can be turned into pushovers. If you want to really be safe, then only go for 2-3 attacks at a time and wait for the enemy to parry you or attempt to counter your spam. Mortal blade, firecrackers, loaded umbrella, and mist raven (especially the upgrade that allows you to use it when your posture is broken) can also be used to cheese enemies or make majority of fights easier. If you really struggle with parrying flurry attacks like the combos that some of the bosses do then try to interrupt them from beginning them in the first place (for example, genichiro’s flurry has a small opening where he winds his sword back before continuing that can be stopped with firecrackers) or simply get some distance away from them before going back in. Shuriken’s can be pretty good for this as you can dodge and use chasing slash to get back in and play aggressive.
Thanks bro. in all honesty, i like every tool. i felt bad putting sabimaru at 10. If i could, i would put a lot of them at like joint 3rd and 4th lol 10 just sounds bad. they're all good if you know when and how to use them.
Shuriken is always one of my 3 default weapons. its the only range weapon and you are right, it closes the gap nicely. I would rather rank it joint 3rd or something if i could lol the other weapons are only slightly higher ranked for me because they are so useful against so many bosses.

😂 I've spent too many hours on this game that i can't ignore how good Mist raven is. In this boss fight vs Inner Isshin: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G92YFXjhuDU.html I absolutely destroyed his first phase and mist raven played a key role at the start. Didn't use it in phase 2 but in phase 3 I used it to do combos on him with lightning and the axe. It doesn't have to be at the top of everyones list, but they should at least acknowledge how good it is. some people just don't use it to its full potential.
And most them don't get that it's not just a TRAIL OF fire for damage but it stuns the enemy who otherwise could still track u in there combo but fire will guarantee u some hits@@juicybossfights

Yeah defo man. its great once you know how to use it. just keep practicing, teleport in the air or behind your enemy and counter with a combat art. its really satisfying.

The problem with mist raven is that you have to be hit by enemy to use mist raven. You can solve it by consuming a pellet and a contact poison at once. On command mist raven usage. 😁
The spear is versatile, the axe is amazing and the mist is a joy to use. I like flame vent too coz I like setting enemies on fire and get the fire sword but its a bit underwhelming. My biggest disappointment with it is me trying and succeeding to push Snake eyes out of a cliff with it, but it doesn't register as a win and just respawns her next time around.
You said it man 🫡 I had a similar experience using the puppet jutsu to knock o'rin off the bridge.. it was so cool but it didn't register either.. she came back and was still playing her music 💀
@@juicybossfights God damn it, now you mention it and I want 100 % to push her off the bridge. lol. Its just fun to do stuff like this and fromsoftware did this to us a million times over in their games so its only natural we would try to "This is Sparta"some of the enemies.
Really enjoyed the watch. You see the value in the tools and the niche's they can all bring. I watched other top 10s and they bottle neck you into only thinking you should only use one or two tools. Also, your quick speech made it very easy to get through the video without losing focus.

@@juicybossfights I know right? I've never played elden ring but Sekiro is one of my favorite games of all time. I beaten it 6 times and am currently doing a level 1 run with base vitality and attack power.... It's horrible bro 😭😂
Dude, the golden abduction only makes them drop items, doesn't kill weaker enemies, the reason the monks vanish is lore related, something to do with a divine abduction they did to themselves to achieve immortality so doing it to them at any point or level of upgrade will make them vanish.
Thanks man. nah no graphics mods. I play on ps5. just when i edited my video, i increased the vibrance and brightness bcz the base game looks kinda dull to me. only issue i have with it. But i'm gna play with mods on pc soon so i'm gonna look into it if its doable.
Great video, if there is one weakness i have to say to the mist raven and a good thing about the umbrella, is that umbrella can block some grabs*(don't know if all) while mist raven cant avoid grabs, but still i really like mist raven , has saved my life a lot while fighting with bosses

I disagree a lot with this list, but opinion it's opinion and it's intersting to see what other people think about the proesthetic tools. It's important to say that your proesthetic tool tierlist will change a lot based on how you play the game. my personal top. 1-Flame vent, this thing it's strong against everything if you use it well. 2-Umbrella, it's stong as fuck but you need to know enemies mooveset, and for that reason I see this tool a bit lower then flame vent. 3-Firecracker, it's a great support tool and in some cases can win the bossfight alone, but it's not that strong against basically everything like the first 2 tools. 4-Loaded Axe (Fire), strong against basically everything but not in the same level of the first 2. 5-Mist raven, really really good, but you need to use specifics combat arts to explore it's full potential ( umbrella it's more versátil and "cheaper") 6- Sabimaru (Piercing), a really good tool, but you need to know how to play with. 7-Shuriken, it's good but the damage (posture or life) it's not that great and you need to know the gaps in the enemies attacks to use it in it's full potential. 8-Divine abdutcion, you can just skip a lot of enemies without lose time but against semi bosses and bosses it's not strong enough to get a top tier position. 9-Finger whistler, for me this thing is similar to divine abduction but you need to take your time to use it, and you "need" it's last upgrade, for this reason I'm putting in this position. 10-Spear, I really don't like the spear, I already played a lot with it, but for me it's just a really really nerfed shuriken. That's what I believe it's stronger, personally Mist Raven, sabimaru and the umbrella are the best ones to play with it.
yeah you're right.. opinion is opinion and it matters how you played the game. but although you disagree with 'most' like you said, 4 of our top 5 was the same, just in different order lol
So i bought sekiro on my bday in 1st of february. I had exams so i didnt really finished the game and never had the time nor patience to beat ishin now i came back and i did it and also am almost finishing ng+ charmless + bell (really hard but its a blast) with that said how do i choose what combinations of tools to use and on wich enemies. I want to have more variety in my playstyle and do more ng cycles with dif. methods but have no knowledge. Pls help
Good birthday present to buy yourself 👍🏼 In all honesty, there's no way of knowing exactly what tools and combinations to use on specific enemies. you just have to experiment and find out what you like. e.g. you can use the whistle for stealth, metal gear solid style, distract them and lure them somewhere, then kill from behind. with the shuriken and spear, you can use it and then immediately attack with your sword using the chasing slice skill for a follow up attack to close the range. umbrella is great for anyone with guns, and also perfect for deflecting the big combos from isshin and genichiro. my fave combat arts are: Sakura Dance, Shadowfall, Double Ichimonji, and Nightjar slash reversal (very skillful:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8do54zdG-Bc.html ) my fave prosthetics are: Mist Raven, Shuriken, flame vent, but honestly, they're all good. just depends how you use it.
