And I know personally one time I fell hard af for this guy I was friends with and he wasn’t attractive but he was just so nice and made me laugh all the time and I just always had the best time with him so I assumed Selena was going through something similar . This is unfair because there are worthy critiques out there. Does she need to be crucified? No, but she's a fool to base her entire persona and career off of insanely political drag art and then act surprised that people are upset she's not endorsing the "side" that clearly supports us. I get she has other issues, and she's valid in everything she has said but I truly don't understand why she is digging her heels about this endorsement thing. Endorsement has never meant you are laying down your life for a political candidate. Modern day endorsement encourages people to vote a particular way, which she has essentially done! Which makes this all the more ridiculous. The literal definition of endorsement is to support a political candidate and how much more support do you need to show besides hitting all key points that clearly align with a progressive agenda. Does she hope Republicans will take on this agenda? I'm just so lost on her not choosing a side logic, you will never convince me it's not a weird stance but I'll still jam out to her music 😂 I'm more convinced that she's young and doesn't quite know how to pick and choose battles or just isn't fully informed and that's okay. She's literally so young and deserves time to grow and learn. Everyone's journey is different, as long as she eventually learns to take accountability even if it's for small stuff. I don't get why people are upset with Chappell for prioritizing herself and health first. I get if your not getting refunds for your tickets and/or disappointed not to see her in concert. But wouldn't you much rather she be happy and healthy when peforming? Wouldn't you want her to not burn out from this sudden fame? In such a short time, she has a lot on her shoulders and is doing things that celebs usually space out over months.
