@@taylorelissaa I watch her live performances on radio shows. So off key or out of tune. Most live concert performances are just backing tracks then she sings on top of them.

Her voice isn't powerhouse but it doesn't need to be. Her voice conveys emotions, it's deep, raw, emotional, confident and it's rare. I love her voice, it's unique

Selena has an angelic voice and wide range… but her voice isn’t very loud. As someone who’s been to her concerts, her voice gets drowned out by fans. But I think what’s most important is the way she sings and what she sings, she’s so emotional when she sings that you can feel the lyrics mean something to her personally. She sings her heart out and it’s gorgeous
Selena,is a powerful n yet so gentle with her songs n how other people think she is just a lucky 15 min of Fame kid that made it through the cracks need to listen to her songs more n feel those words
Selena makes amazing emotional music. And she has a sweet tone. I could listen to most of her songs on repeat versus other females that supposedly sing better than her. She has the gift of story telling. People who judge her couldn't do half of the extraordinary things she has accomplished. It is just a shame she takes their opinions to heart.
Kelly genuinely a nice person she has been through hell and back with her ex but she always has a smile and a kind word regardless who you are she’s a very classy woman and a damn good entertainer.

Selena has a way to relate to people more than anyone I have ever seen before. It is her outstanding empathy that allows her to create music that truly moves people. There are so many singers with amazing voices that don’t go anywhere because they lack the ability to move the audience.

I agree. The most powerful singers don't have to sound spectacular or grand but should emotionally guide you with the stories they sing. For me, Selena not only is an amazing embodiment of determination, positivity, and strength but her music always finds some sort of way to touch if not all hearts. For example, Lose You to Love Me, Rare, Back to You, and People you Know are amazing songs that hold a special place in my heart. I also love that Kelly another wonderfully talented singer conveyed her love for Selena's musical capabilities and spoke her truth about how a real singer/artist can transcend people. being a singer is not just about how beautiful your voice is but making people feel the emotions thru your singing. there are a lot of singers with really nice voice but you can't feel emotions with it

Her music and her message continues to inspire millions of fans, and her character shines brighter than any artist with a fancy voice ever could. I love the sound of her voice, her songs are iconic, she’s done an entire album in another language (&inspired me learn Spanish!) and it was beautiful, not to mention the vast range of genres she’s SLAYED in her collabs with other artists. Selena is one of those artists I almost always prefer the covers to her originals. She's a great songwriter! I respect her as an artist. Vocally, she’s just not my preference. Which is why I love Kelly’s response here. She compliments the talent without giving her false praise. Imagine how much better our world would be if we all responded like Kelly here.
