I think it's just how she talks. She always seems on the verge of crying and her mouth is very still and makes her seem sad

@@leorad yes, she has always been pretty tranquil when talking while seeming like there's underlying emotion bubbling up (I think it's a trait for many of us Cancers, think about Ariana Grande, etc), but when she was younger before tabloids & everyone (even her health) tried to rip her up, she was definitely a lot more free & bubbly while also talking calmly. There was a lot more light in her eyes, if you notice, she looks down and away more while fidgeting with her hands--body language symptom of anxiety. Us Cancers do tend to be anxiety-prone, but I'm pretty sure she's talked about medically having really tough anxiety herself (as well as Ariana, and I actually do too + an autoimmune disease myself so I can understand that feeling & our habits like looking down, or for me, instead of playing with my hands I subconsciously put my hands in fists). Anyways, what I'm trying to say is you can tell that yes she's really chill when she talks to others and always has been, but it's clear to those of us experienced with anxiety that she definitely has nerves going on & probably in multiple ways. Nothing wrong with it, just something to cheer her on for being so vulnerable despite her anxiety--that can be really hard to do when you clinically have it.

it makes me feel bad for not giving Jimmy more credit for being a great interviewer... in the past, especially with really energy-driven mainstream stars, he can seem to be overdoing the laughs and trying to be "goofy" or whatever that I had thought he has turned fake. But through seeing him at home and in more personal, uplifting, and real conversations with guests during the recent quarantine shift, it has really highlighted his true, comforting nature and that he actually does know how to make his guests feel welcome to be open. That is a tell-tale sign of a skilled interviewer, and most importantly, one who doesn't want to "expose" his guest or make a story out of them but just wants to help them shine & genuinely have a good time. perhaps it's from experience over the years? but it's definitely bringing me back to his show and gaining so much more respect for him. he's not only a great entertainer, but he's a really honorable guy. as someone who has had years of experience in broadcasting, I can tell you that's not always able to be said about interviewers and it's common for their guests to be intensely wary of them even in between takes knowing they could try to turn anything into a "view-grabbing" story (even casual small talk, I've seen it happen even to people the "talent" were supposed "friends" with/a deep personal history between them and the guest! they can be shameless, it's horrible). you can tell that's not the case with him and other skilled late night interviewers like James Corden, Graham, Colbert, Seth Meyers, etc. it's refreshing and brings a lot of humanity to tv & the entertainment industry :) now, some others like Andy Cohen... yeah idk if they can be as trustworthy (cough cough what he did to Kathy Griffin for one, etc)

Every time I saw her, i thought she was just stuck with the little round baby face. She was always older than what I thought. To see her on this show, "I'm like wait is that what Selena looks like now" ? I didn't recognize her, looks like her head grew all jokes aside. Yes she does look like a different but grown woman. I wouldn't have been able to tell it was her if I saw her b4 this video.

Losing baby fat would define her face but her face shape completely changed. Went from super round to a sharp V. Her eyes are also now much more slanted.
