She was a once in a lifetime artist. I was only 5 months when she passed yet her music left such an impact in my music taste and life. She was just amazing and beyond humble.
@@lilouidg I was a toddler when she passed and my Dad loved Selena and played her music around me from a young age, I remember being 6, not understanding my father saying I could never meet her or see her perform because she was gone. I remember him allowing me to watch the movie and I sobbed, I was inconsolable for weeks, I kept crying about her, saying how sad I was. Even today, I still cry for her and mourn her. She really was a once in a lifetime artist and it's a true tragedy. She left a whole in this lifetime that can never be filled, because of someone's jealousy, selfishness and greed.

It’s a song about an unrequited love, Ricky Vela, the pianist, composed it for Suzette, Selena’s sister; he was in love with her but she was getting married with someone else and he never told her that he loved her. That’s why she put so much emotion in it.

I was lucky enough to see her sing this beautiful live. You could just feel the emotion in every word she sang. I still get goosebumps listening to her music. Saw her 3 times in concert and she had the total package. The world truly lost a beautiful talented artist. You still and will be missed always. ❤️❤️❤️

She was beyond amazing, I remember watching her at the front of the stage and being totally mesmerized by her, everyone was. I luckily got her autograph. My mom even embarrassed me in front of her by saying, “Selena, Danny was supposed to go see his abuelita (grandma) this weekend but he threw a fit and here we are!” 🤣 they both laughed at me 😂 Before she went on stage she waved at me and said by “bye, mijo!” I will never ever forget it ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I think Selena is a great singer, l listen to her about every day. And I am to a Queen fan Freddie Mercury was great he died in 1991 but I still listen to him, he was the front man of Queen.
