This song sound so unusual compared to what she used to sing. This sounds very tropical .i love this song. One of my many favorites. Its soo cool. This just proves that SELENA could have done anything and she always sounded soo great at everything she did

OMG, the synthesizer sounds remind me of my old Yamaha PSR-130, which unfortunately, won't turn on anymore. I really hope Freddie Records remasters this album for Google Play.

It might have something to do the rights to her earlier recordings. It was an issue back with the movie too. Jennifer Pena did the singing voice for young Selena and re recorded a couple of songs for young Selena.
Patricia Cigarroa they wanted to portray her at that age so they figured how to do it. I’m guessing it’s why they only picked that one song. Even the other songs they picked from the 80s are not the originals. They also have copy right issues with those so when they got picked up by EMI they recorded them her hits before recording the self titled album. So Dame Un Beso, Quireo, Costumbres, Terco Corazon, a few others were from all re recordings but actually Selena’s voice if that makes sense.
@@bz4413 Jennifer Pena only did the Blue Moon and Over the Rainbow Vocals. They used Selena’s recording for Ya Se Acabo from this album in the movie. In the end credits of the movie they called it “Regresa A Mi”

@@Erika_arreola si escuchas las versiones posteriores de esta canción ella omite esta parte solo canta la primera estrofa y se dirige al estribillo. Aquí la canto tal cual por cuestiones de producción y letra.
@Boycott The Media Boycott The Media ella canto los acapellas y algunas canciones. Esta canción no salió por los derechos del audio o por que no encajaba pues el dueño de esto es Freddy records. Christian canta en esa parte.
@@marianari7119 pues según Netflix confirmo que los acapellas y algunas canciones interpretaría Christian. De hecho llegaron a grabar las canciones de Selena pero se llego al acuerdo de usar la musica original. Creo que esta no se uso por que la familia no tiene los derechos del audio por ser el dueño Freddy records. Creo que ella interpreto los temas pero para el Secreto de Selena.
Perdón? Primero flaco hablame con respeto por qué yo no le falte el respeto a nadie y lo que digo es que a comparación de las otras grabaciones de Selena de chiquita no se escucha de la misma forma y parece que tiene la voz de una mujer más grande
