Julie (Madison Reyes) is a teenage girl who finds her passion for music and life with the help of a high-concept band of three teen boys, The Phantoms (Charlie Gillespie, Jeremy Shada, Owen Patrick Joyner) who have been dead for 25 years. Julie, in turn, helps them become the band they were never able to be. In addition to their acting chops, Madison, Charlie, Jeremy and Owen were cast because of their natural musical abilities. They not only sing, but also all play their own instruments in the show. The music is more than just part of the foundation; it plays as the fifth lead.
