Self ballasted amber neon bulbs 

These amber neon bulbs are salvaged from 4 broken power strips. The bulbs are used to install at the on-off switch of each output socket as indicator.
There are 22 bulbs, each of them have a 220kohm series resistor. 18 of them are in good condition, in this video I picked two of them to test. The light is always stay at the top of the electrode rods.
Warning: High voltage is applied to power up these bulbs, if you are going to play around with them, safety precautions must be taken or you might have a risk of electric shock.
