Self Care For Funeral Directors 

This webinar will lead funeral directors through a psychoeducational presentation on the impact of working with families in the tragic aftermath of sudden, violent, and traumatic losses - often involving the death of a young person - including from the opioid epidemic, rising suicide rates, and domestic or gang violence.
Funeral directors will be given an opportunity to consider the psychological impact of working in funeral and bereavement care, recognize vicarious traumatization and compassion fatigue, and cultivate diverse strategies for engaging in effective self-care.
