My biggest tips for the wax strips bc mine werent working before either: 1) put LOADS of baby powder under your arms before applying the strip 2) apply in the direction of the hair growth, this might mean using two strips to get all the hair fully out, and pull in the opposite direction of the hair growth
Also, it's a bit tricky, but press your skin down with the other hand, not touching the hair, but to make the skin tight/taught/stretched This helps. I always do my own now with those stripe
@@sarabeqelefor arm pits I also suggest before you warm and open the strips cut in half in that way it will be easier to manuever and applying. I usually do like this and I don't really feel difficult

I tried the billie ones and I pulled up and nothing came out and then read the instructions and pulled down and it all came off😭😭fair warning, the more hair, the more it’ll hurt. mine was long and it hurrrrrt but it was so smooth so I would do it again
Ur supposed to press on it for a while then see what direction ur hair is going and do the opposite like for example ur hair is going downwards and pull off upwards if that makes sense 😅
Don't apply alovera directly on the face. Take the flesh wash it for 3 times and then apply bcs there will be a yellow layer which cause itching/irritation.

Key Tip Sis: your underarm hair grows in two different directions. The top have grows upwards and the bottom half grows downward. The key is the apply the strips and smooth them down in the direction the hair grows and rip them off in the opposite direction as close to the skin and as quickly as possible. I tried sugar waxing on myself last weekend. It literally took me 2 abd a half hours but I got all the hair off so for 3 weeks it was worth it. I believe the more your practice the better you get 😊
Your armpits are so clear! My armpits have been scarred by a botched wax job a few months ago. I miss my old armpits, I'm so embarrassed to raise my arms now. The scarring won't go away...
A lot of people have tried using vitamin C for darker underarms but if it's scarring, you can try aloe or a cream to heal the scarring.. I'm so sorry about that, how could anyone scar with wax??!! I'm sure a dermatologist could help with scarring if your concerned about it !
@hueningpie it's been so long since I wrote this comment! By scarring I shouldve said hyperpigmentation caused by the injury to skin. My armpits are so much better now. Not completely clear but I'm no longer embarrassed. It took some time to get to this stage but I also used the ordinary glycolic acid once my skin was no longer raw and could handle the products
I have facial hair too. A lot of people shave or wax , I don't do both cause it just makes it worse and my skin gets irritated. so don't worry much about it
tip for the aloe vera: its not supposed to kind of burn, thats the poison. you’re supposed to get rid of it ofcourse (i dont know how to because i dont do it myself)
Girl, please make sure ur stretching ur skin as taught as you can especially in ur underarm area. It’s very sensitive and if you just pull at it with a wax strip then you are just tugging at thick clumped up skin and it will cause bruising and bleeding and it will her way more then if u had just stretched it taught. That will also help with getting better results 💗
The strips work by ripping them AGAINST the way your hair lays so because you ripped it with & not against is why it didn’t work well. Also, they won’t work as well for reasons like you said but also when there’s any moisture in the spot you want to wax!!!! 🙂
I use those same wax strips under my arms and have really good results. Tip… Your arm has to be completely dry. It probably didn’t work because it looks like you were just out of the shower? You can also put a little baby powder under your arm before you use the strip to make sure it’s bone dry. Also, you want to apply the strip in the direction of the hair growth . For example, my hair grows up so I apply the strip and then pull it down to remove. Good luck!❤
A recent tip I just got from my bff on shaving (really anywhere) is to soak or steam the skin for a while then cleanse, exfoliate, rinse, shave, use a gel moisturizer, then cream ~ let it soak in ~ tone the skin with rosewater, aloe, cucumber, or something else soothing and finally let the skin breathe for a full 24 hours (no touching, no makeup, no nothing). That should help you avoid irritation while the micro-cuts heal 💗

I would truly advise against using baby powder, especially johnson&johnson baby powder. Their ingredients are been linked to causing cancer for people who use it. Many women who got cancer filed a massive lawsuit against them because this major negligence
I wish girls would specify that shaving your face does not work for everyone! If you have PCOS, or other health issues, shaving your face is off limits. If you were to shave your whole face and have PCOS you’re legit gunna probably look like a squirrel a month later.

Wax and me just don't mix. Be it either wax strips or going to a professional salon. It always tends to remove the topmost layer of my skin and leaves most of the hair behind. I have horror stories with wax... 😢
Does shaving ur face w aloe not make it break out?? Cause I usually shave my face dry after I’ve washed it thoroughly so that my pores don’t get clogged and my skin gets those weird bumps
