An inquest into the suspected death of Iveta was held before the Deputy State Coroner in November 2022. All of Iveta’s children attended for the duration of the inquest, as well as her mother and her husband, Chad Mitchell. The children and her husband all gave evidence at the inquest. Mr Mitchell had been given a potential adverse finding letter, but he did not seek to exercise his right to silence or request a certificate in relation to his evidence. He was given an opportunity to review the draft finding, prior to its publication in order to make submissions, if he wished to do so. At the conclusion of the inquest, her Honour found beyond all reasonable doubt that Iveta was deceased on or about 3 May 2010. The cause of death could not be ascertained without her body being examined. Her Honour also found, to the requisite standard, that another person or persons was either directly or indirectly involved in her death. Further, her Honour also found that all other possible manners of death were excluded, other than homicide, either lawful or unlawful. As Iveta’s death occurred by homicide by person or persons unknown, her Honour reasonably suspected that an indictable offence has been committed and as such, exercised her powers to refer the matter to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions pursuant to s 27(5) of the Coroners Act. He murdered her. Ladies, when you're going to leave a man, don't tell him, just leave quietly with your childten and don't even tell your children you're leaving him. Have somewhere planned to go, if not your own new home, then a refuge. Change your phone number. Never give him your new phone number. Never give him your new address. Change the children's schools beforehand. Tell the new school principals that he is not allowed to collect the children from school. I was in a situation at 22, pregnant, when the psychopath I was living with almost succeeded in murdering me. You don't owe him an "explanation" about why you're leaving him, because you might not get the chance to finish that explanation. Just get the hell out of that situation without saying a word to him.

I think what you meant to say is, when you are leaving an 'abusive' person. At least, that is what I hope you are saying. I'm saddened to hear you had to go through such a horrible ordeal. Quite obviously though, not all men are abusive, nor are all women. I have one friend who is an absolute, loving and caring gentleman and a true family man. He is educated, works he's backside off and has a terrific career. He's narcissistic ex-wife did exactly what you have described above to punish him. Her attempt to destroy him was almost successful to, only for the love and support of he's family and friends.

@@PhatPhilby so YOU say. its the nature of an abuser's family and friends to stand by them and defend them and blame the victim, has happened since time began. Manipulation is the name of the game. And I think she can decide what she "meant to say". There's some control right there
@PhatPhilby
@PhatPhilby 4 месяца назад
@@fairmaiden6472 What are you on about? It isn't what 'I' say, its documented fact that victim's are both male and/or female. Whilst statistically, women are more 'likely' to be the victim, it works both ways. As stated, its proven fact. If you're implying I support or have in anyway stood by an abuser, you either have rocks in your head or need to get off the drink. This behaviour is unacceptable and disgusts me. I grew up fighting and in opposition to this kind of crap. Your implication that I am controlling is unwarranted and also abuse itself. My comment, if you read it again, was suggesting that an 'abuser' can be both, as you have so kindly just illustrated for me. My 'hope' was simply, that the author of this had intended to write that.

I was totally interested in this guy’s body language and I thought ‚bingo it was him‘ when he was presented his wedding ring logic (that he must have thought was amazing not knowing lots of killers come up with the same shxx) and recognised he was outsmarted. Agree. Also, it was weird how he was going around with his son and asking people if they have seen her. These narc will often involve their children as pawns and that is what he was doing. No loving father would put their young child through that ordeal. They would do it themselves or with another adult. He did that for sympathy. He definitely did it. Everyone around here thinks the husband did it, but he got away with it and he still lives in their house and he raised their two girls who are now both teenagers. It just doesn’t make sense. I don’t know if her husband was abusive or not, but she did tell her friends that she was planning on leaving him. There is a similar case that happened in the US and the boyfriend was not guilty. It looked like it but it was found later that she was murdered by an off duty police officer who came across her walking down the road. There is always the possibility that he truly hasn't done anything to harm her. Such a tragedy for her loved one's whatever has happened.💔

However, it was known that she walked off without her boyfriend. And the POS Security Officer admitted it to his wife. She went straight to the Police. If I'm not mistaken, she was a police officer. Then the guy kidnapped another young lady for like a day and a half. Super scary. She said she had STDs so he didn't assault her. I'd say that case was different. This particular case, this Husband seems Guilty as sin. And she may have threatened to divorce and take the kids, which seems like taking his son away from him truly set him off. And he thinks he's "protecting" his wife by screaming "Get the F out!!" in front of his child. Doesn't sit well. In my opinion he is Guilty.

This person is trying so hard to control the situation, that he does not realise that his body language, voice and crying is making him look guilty. Is he on drugs? Why would a woman leave her house what 1 o’clock in the morning without her phone? And not say a single thing to any of her children or leave her children alone. What a liar, she obviously told him she was leaving and he didn’t want her to take the children. Have the police used dogs to look for her. Look at the way he responds to police saying we believe you buried her at quarry! Looks like he is smiling! And the rings, why would a woman leave her children her possessions and never ever speak to her family. That is total bull. Did police investigate this case at all?

When there's someone "missing" that's confounding in a case similar to this where the husband is looking really suspect, cadaver dogs are really helpful to find a body. It doesn't sound like they were used in this case. That's a shame.

It has happened here in Perth before - a woman had a fight with her boyfriend and left his car to walk home, then was hit by a hit and run and died. They thought the bf did it for a long time but eventually the truth came out.. I think he may have gone to jail first though. However, more like the husband here, Perth isn’t really a place where you’d get murdered for no reason.. there’s like one psycho every 20 years or so

I can't count how often I've heard this story "We had a fight and he/she stormed out and left!" in crime documentaries and the partner, of course, is the murderer (big surprise 🙄)! (Oh, and so often this seems to happen right before a divorce or separation (What a coincidence!)) You'd think they would come up with some less incriminating story, by now (only two or three times out of hundreds of cases in documentaries was the partner innocent, and I don't think this is one of them)
