It is well thought out and built by an American with a can-do attitude! Congratulations sir! Automotive ASE Master Tech since 1978 - Retired ( I like it )
I think my 20 ton log splitter has double duty. Nothing is better than having one machine for multiple purpose task! Plus, it has wheels for portability to a job site.
@@deankay4434 Since we don't all have access to a cut piece of Industrial I-Beam (LOL)...this is the most practical design I've found. I would use a wider plate for making contact with the top of the bottle jack though. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LgPGJPGpm7s.html
Took a ibeam, cut it into 3 prices to make a c. Then welded the top of a bottle Jack on the top side of the inside of the c shaped I beam. Added a steel plate to the bottom of the bottle Jack to reinforce it so it won't break. Make sure all your welds are good. I used a 20 ton bottle Jack to get the psi I need, and it's a lot of pressure on those beams when pressing. The technical stuff on the beam in not sure what it is. Just some my dad had laying around.
