That lyric is actually a pretty cool double entendre. “Old news, I’m the fresh prince” as in “I’m the new guy in town” But also “Old news, I’m the fresh PRINTS” like a newspaper and he’s the new story. Idk I found it pretty clever
@@coolcrudude4833 exactly, I interpreted the lyric "yall old news" as Walter directly saying that to the big bads like Gus and the Salamanca of the bcs years. Now its his time in the spotlight kinda thing. "I'm the fresh prince" to me is Jesse, meaning he's young, energetic and new on the scene too. "Beast mode on the mic is how I X-Men" would be Saul joining them too like a trio or team (X-Men). I love visual and lyrical storytelling and rewatching the edit just now there's so many good connections. Props to the person who made this edit.
This is art, plain and simple. Each lyric lining up visually is just brilliantly cut. I love the idea of that shot of Nacho's flower/glass shard is chronologically the last shot.
Not only does this make me wanna add this song to my playlist, but it legit makes me wanna look up Seth MacFarlane's songs. I know he's always been a fantastic singer but goddamn does his voice sound beautiful in this song. Not to mention the amazing video edits. It must not have been easy but it was very well done.
