I was going to say the same thing. Not trying to be rude but you want your finger to wrap around your trigger and pull through. Your finger is on the tip of your trigger it looks like. I agree with the draw length thing as well. Looks like you move your head in towards the string a bit much. Great work though keep practicing.
Unless you have multiple personality disorder, there is no 'we'. Keep going self taught, can't have enough archery channels. By the way, it looks like your draw length is too short. You might want to watch Nock On 101 with John D. And for your lost arrows, get a metal detector.
I certainly think your draw length is too short, and you’re punching the trigger almost every shot. You should try wrapping your finger around the trigger and using your back to pull through the shot.
I'd suggest a hinge or an onnex click by Stan that trigger punch is gnarly boss great video quality tho I subbed just keep working on it man nothin but ❤
That looks like a trufire hardcore which is an excellent release but he def needs to shorten it to his middle knuckle and pull through rather than using the tip of the finger
Great video, good production quality, and engaging. Love your bow setup, that's a solid rig. Watching the video a couple times I noticed a few things that stood out if I may offer some suggestions on things I learned over the years as well: Your draw length looks fine, the string should touch the tip of your nose and the corner of your mouth when fully drawn. Your release looks to be a little long, from what I can see in the video you have to stretch a bit to pull the trigger, ideally, you want the trigger to sit around the second pad of your trigger finger, and you just rest your finger on the trigger and use your back to pull through the shot to cause the trigger to release. I also noticed that when you are holding the shot you are leaning back on your rear foot slightly, you want your shoulders to stay over your hips. You're doing a great job holding through until the shot hits, that makes a bigger difference than people realize. Sorry about your lost arrow, we've all been there and it still hurts every time. But you've got to give one up to the archery gods occasionally. Keep hammering, you're doing great!
Thank you! I read this a few time to take notes, ! really appreciate the detail you out into this comment!!! The next video I will be working to incorporate the needed changes!
Use lighted nocks when practicing... you won't lose another one! Also helps with learning the trajectory. Not bad shooting though brother. Practice practice practice.
