Extension proposal: Have the top be 2 8 3 9. In the end, they can drop either or both of the top cards ontop of the stack where the selection is in the tenth position instead of burying them, So the outcome will be 10, 11 or 12 and the selection will then be at that position.
my parents reaction to this trick was priceless!! I am so happy you created this channel and you are the only reason I started magic and I really enjoy it. You are the inspiration for me and a lot of other people and we thank you endlessly❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another little thing you can add when having the spectators deal the cards at the beginning is to actually have them shuffle as they deal. Once the spectator has put down the first four cards it really doesn't matter what other cards they put, so you can have them shuffle and mix and set down two or three cards at a time, so that the cards are legitimately mixed. Also, while it can be helpful to have four force cards, it's really not necessary. After dealing the cards at the beginning and stopping whenever they want, and then mixing up the other pile, then coming back to the first pile and dealing again, the spectator isn't going to suspect that there's anything really fishy going on, and you can just have them take the two cards they "dealt" to. There really isn't a need for having them bury the card and then take the next one. Just having an 8 and a 2 on top of the deck should be fine.
this trick is so simple and thats why I love it, it gives no opportunity for hecklers to intervene because it looks and pretty much is so fair, love this trick
AMCT i love ur card trick tutorials hope u continue to make amazing tutorials ahead.. best of luck from India.. Like whoever wants more content and loves AMCT and India
You could also do it with different numbers besides 8 and 2 (like 7/3 or 6/4) or even something that didn’t add up to 10 if you are asked to perform again or someone in the audience had seen you do the trick previously. Also would help to practice culling different cards and overhand shuffling a different amount for the break
I love this trick so much it’s probably my favourite I performed it at my Family thank show and I won so thank you so much million card tricks great video :-) 😃😃😁🤪🤪
David Blaine does this for celebrities and blows their minds. Imagine if you learned to hold your breath for 17 minutes, you too could perform magic for Olivia Wilde, Giselle Bundcheon, and Emily Blunt.

I specialize in hands-off magic and this trick features quite a few techniques common to this style. The true secret here is a tireless assistant who participates in rehearsing these tricks, and yes, I pay my assistants by the hour.
@@AMillionCardTricks I have rehearsed these tricks on video but that method does not help much for optimizing clear instructions that any spectator can follow precisely.
Great video! I am so horrible at performing card tricks but this one I might be able to pull off 😂 I know I’ll sound like a dink for saying this but .... you can use your arms as a distraction cause they are so so tiny. An infant has bigger biceps!
Bro I just want to say that love ur card tricks and ur music as I am a musician myself and thanks to you a magician noW thank you bro and for music can we collab .🤗🤗😀😀
he has more subscribers now. It gets more and more difficult to reply to comments on your videos when you have so many comments to reply to and the ratio of comments who got a reply decreases.
Plz give me a tip on classic pass. I do sliding motion fast but while squaring I don't square it properly and I flash when I always do it. Plz guide me
I have a question about the cull. I hold the deck in my right hand so when i spread the cards for a cull, the pips are hidden as they are behind the other cards. Do you have any tips on how to make it easier?
You can train your mind to read the inverted value in the right bottom corner. A little bit of practice will be enough, then your brain will be used to it. One of my friend had this problem, did the same 👍🏻
Tbh this trick seems kind of tedious to me. As the spectator I would be wondering why the heck we have to go through this whole long process, and I would assume that it was self-working somehow...which makes it less amazing. If there were a way to do this trick simpler and with less steps it would be better in my opinion.
I get it. There’s many different versions of this trick, and many of them probably seem quicker and better. However, most of those versions require you touching the cards almost the entire time, so the spectator will think you somehow moved their card into their position by sleight of hand. Sure this is how they think all card tricks are accomplished, and they will still be amazed, so in the end it doesn’t really matter. But while this particular version is a bit longer, the spectator gets to do practically everything in their own hands. It leaves a much stronger memory in their mind when they get to witness and actually perform the magic themselves. (And also the performance flows better when you have a real spectator helping you out, it was almost a whole minute longer than it would normally be because I had to do everything myself lol)
