Team mates arguing over who takes a penalty should never happen. Everybody should be 110% clear who the designated taker is. I remember players from my team Leeds United having on field argument after a penalty was awarded. It was embarrassing.
Idk, a lot of these are correct team plays for me. Especially the "steals" where they slam it into an open goal from short distance after someone else did all the work: most cases they come sprinting and can't be sure that there isn't a defender just behind them. Safest play is to just get the ball in asap, even if it means that the goal "unfairly" ends up in your name. Same with a couple goals where one attacker somewhat fails the control just in front of the keeper and accidentally sets up for a second attacker to finish, totally right call to take the shot when the ball ends up perfectly in front of you like that, for same reason. As long as you're not offside ofc. :P And many of the passes were not that open, or required as much precision as scoring. And many didn't really set up a better shot than just shooting yourself. Like let me make some n00b analysis of 4:13: the defender (29) sees the pass (4:14) and moves to block/discourage it (4:16). This is a common (standard?) play, many goalkeepers have told me to just block the pass in 2v1s, they prefer a 1v0 where they can try to cut the angle of the attacker without having to worry about a pass. Attacker also sees the pass, and that defender is blocking, so goes straight for goal instead, which is correct at that point. The defender sees that attacker commiting for the shot (see right hand coming up at 4:17) and "cheats" by giving up on blocking the pass and instead tries for a late block (but futile), which kindof opens up for a pass at last touch, but attacker already set to finish in 1 v keeper (which should be a goal most of the times), and there shouldn't be a pass there anyway. If attacker had realised defender was cheating last instant, he could cancel/feign the shot and instead pass. It would've been a pretty goal, but that's a risky move compared to just a 1 v keeper finish, especially with a second defender a step behind you. If he tried that and failed, coach would be upset for not taking the shot I think. But otoh, if he had made the pass and scored, I think the defender would've gotten quite a talking to from the keeper! :P Does that analysis make sense? Everyone agrees? Some definitely tunnel visioned though, favourite was 2:52, definitely too many cooks in the kitchen. :D
The steals depend a bit on how you celebrate them I suppose. The guy at 2:00 is motioning like 'it was MY goal why aren't you celebrating with me?' which is a bit disrespectful I guess. Kane did that better, as the commentator said 'quietly claiming that one'. At other moments though, for example 6:51, the ball didn't even seem to be going into the goal. Goes to show, kicking in the ball is always the right choice.
"lot of these are correct team plays for me." I was thinking the same thing. That players like Ronaldo or Neymar are "angry" for not passing the ball to them, says nothing, they are mad at you whether you make the goal or not. You cant just start looking who to pass when you got like 2 defenders right behind your back and running towards the goal. Or you take bad touch to the ball and it goes away from you and some guy shoots it to goal instead of you. You cant know if there is like defender behind you or something and you just let the "originall" guy try to take a shot.
Bruh u can’t hate a player for that he was mad for another reason and plus Ronaldo is still legendary I mean I bet u can’t do all the hard work Ronaldo has done and I don’t think anyone would be happy if someone’s stole their goal
Ronaldinho was fun to watch. So is messi. PERIOD. What i can do what ur mum cannot do is not a valid poin in this arguments perspectives. But u cn chck my channel and i cn juggle a few even with injuries n stuff...so yeah. Bet u hve nothing for tht. N credibility on the pitch Ronadlo maybe someitmes young and in man u. Was fun. Hes similar or nearly ibrahimovic for me. But some magic is what seeing Ronaldinho play and messi ..requires no words it was. Apart all..their aggresion and behaviours r not maniac ism like ramos pepe etc ronaldo has now controlled it bit with age. But in a similar fashion ibra is godly hard work. Nd legend
Chicharito vs Bellarabi one if i remember right could've made the team go through the next stage of the Champions league That selfishness cost them the group stage lmao
Ronaldo-step-over-meme is the same thing. American football would have been better for him: Play with the hands, but shoot with the feet. But not the beautiiful game...
If you're about to take a penalty and a team mate insists he takes it and is causing a real fuss about it, just let him take it because you're in a no-win situation. If you score, you get accused of robbing the other player of 'his' goal; if you miss, God help you!
Nah Ion think the Di Maria one wouldve gone in unless he got the touch. It was either an off-side or a goal kick. In this situation, they would be the same shite
5:31 is a joke. Sterling was never open except right before the first shot and as an England supported you would be pissed Harry isn’t shooting that ball in the box. He’s the best on the field at scoring.
1/2 of the vid is about arguing to be the one who shots a penalty kick, some score, some fail. Everyone who was arguing is selfish. Some others just make sure that the ball gets in, or have a better position to score than the guy with the ball. And the one of Kane, he confuses to the gk, without Kane, the gk would have been confident
