I can honestly say that I loved your videos in the past that were just you and all real footage. The stock footage kind of takes away from the authenticity of your videos. I would love to see those authentic videos to continue. Thank you for your dedication though.

I appreciate the compliment and the constructive criticism I never want to come off as non-genuine. I think there’s a lot of people that would agree with you. While I do use most of my own content for B-roll I do use produced 4K B-roll as well. Please allow me to explain, I love to share my advice and help folks with their backyard rabbitries, apiaries and to help hunters fill the freezer with chemical free venison. We have hundreds of videos spanning over three channels. I work about a 70 hours a week and although I’m a musician and can produce my own music for the video background I still use music that is edited by other producers. My time is so limited that I use a small portion of B roll captured by videographers in high definition to spice up the story plot and take viewers through the video. Some video topics are more popular than others and don’t need as much spicing up. I will continue to film as much as time allows me to, and in the future, I will take your advice and try to make the best videos I can. @@TheRabbitryCenter Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and not being offended. I'm glad that you appreciated my comment, because I meant it with absolute love. The videos I've viewed in the past were so insightful. We run a family owned video production company (I'm breeding bunnies on the side to sell at a local feed store to bring a little extra delight to my life) and we deal with stock footage all the time and I guess I was 'over-stimulated' by the b-roll because I'd rather use my natural imagination to picture the points you are getting across. So forgive me if I'm biased towards an 'all A-roll' type of video. Thanks again for all that you do for the bunny raising community!! Keep going. I am inspired and am creating a space on social media for my bunnies because of people like you!

Thank you Bobby for this. I have to do more of this social media exposures myself. My farm is quiet small so i've never had to bother much on disposing my rabbits as the few i got cant even meet the demands here. Hopefully as the farm grow larger i'll get myself out there. Hi Bobby! How does it come that you guys have NZ broken rabbits in America? I'm from Europe and here I've never seen anybody owning one, not even blues, only reds,whites and blacks. I am new to genetics but can you obtain a broken or blue NZ rabbit while maintaing the pureness of bred, I mean without crossbreeding? Thank you so much for your videos!

The ARBA will recognize white, red, blue & black as well as broken in the New Zealand breed. We haven’t competed in shows but let me tell you what we experienced. When we started out, we only had New zealand blue, white and red rabbits. In the past, we have tried cross breeding, but not the rabbits that I’m referring to, And never to achieve a certain color gene. When we bred the same colored New zealand’s we experienced a genetic drift, eliminating the possibilities for something different and in result stacked alleles getting more consistent and richer colored results through homozygosity -only after mixing New Zealand colored rabbits did we experience hidden or recessive results and triggering different color mutations as well as secondary genes like the broken gene (En). We try to market our rabbits on most levels. But we’re a small rabbitry so commercial accounts aren’t economically viable. Certain rabbits will appeal to different markets. those that don’t meet are favorable characteristics for folks competing in shows will always make terrific breeding stock or pets. Any that remain or dont sell fill our freezer with terrific chemical free white meat.
