@Run_Eat_Pray I think it's because PC limited ST to 4 boxes and a lot of people don't want loose boxes and want sealed cases so they bought BS because it allowed 6 at a time so they send a case.

Just opened 1 case of chilining reign etbs. Just put me back to reality how hard it was to pull alt arts. With ss sealed products going up, way better to just by alt arts. Which I think is also pushing the alt arts up

The psa 10 gengar mimikyu hit 1400 during the spike. It deffently has fallen off hard. Looking at single near mint cards is kind of a diffrent story. Most of us grade cards and collect 10s.

They haven't seem to had a big jump in price like the boxes. price per pack wise compared to BBs, the ES etbs should be around $150 right now. I'm sittin on a lot of them and ES BB cases, I dont mind holding on to them.

Well booster boxes don't get values on price per pack. They get valued for their scarcity and always hold premiums over the other products. This is not to say other products like etbs can't grow but don't expect them to catch up to booster boxes price per pack.

They over 1000 CAD in my local area and only a few are available. I think PE just got restocked on the Pokemon Center so hopefully that helps to lower the prices a bit.

@joshuagreaves7381 So a Timmy is Kinda like a fish in poker that basically donates to the rest of the experienced players and never wins. So someone who buys into or after the hype at the highs, or makes poor plays and decisions by getting manipulated from others and then usually complains about it and calls everything a scam or manipulation becuase they lack the experience to navigate the market correctly. Where is originated? Possibly Rudy from Alpha Investments or at least that's the first I've heard it.

Alex I think you compare swsh to sun and moon a lot to justify why swsh will do the same when there so fundamentally different, you seem to always forget that sun and moon is actually rare compared to swsh, this is obvious by the fact that Pokemon increased production after the boom, and also when you analyze PSA pop + set age it clearly give it away. How come the latios and latias from team up, which has bin out for 5+ years and massive popularity barely has over 1000+ copies in a ten, yet Umbreon from evo skies, which is a set that 2+ years old already has 10 times the population of latios and latias at over 11000+, this is why it's inaccurate to compare both, sun and moon is essentially rare to swsh witch is why it's had that nice constant incline, itl be interesting to see what swsh will do in 5+ years, but it will definitely not follow the path of sun and moon.

Sun and moon is super popular, your just riding of the fact that swsh is having it's moment, just like Japanese and waifus had there moment last year, and sun and moon the year precious and also vintage in 2020, but essentially, just like all these areas that I've mentioned had to take a back seat, eventually swsh will have to take a back seat to let the next star rise, and when swsh takes the back seat you'll sea how it campres to the rest of the other areas.

I made a few purchases on Trainer Galleries today while TCG Player has their deal going on today. Came across that massive gain on the Garchomp V and figured I'd wait. Then decided to open some AS sleeved boosters and pulled one along with the Beedrill V Alt Art and a Starmie V featuring Misty, so I'm pretty happy with that! Garchomp went in the TG Binder, but since I have the Starmie V already, so I'm probably going to list that and the Beedrill. Thanks for educating us Timmy's.😂
