Yes I agree, they’re priced to high for Corjl, should be really low considering they are getting all those free e-mails from the buyers we are to sending to there site
I tried both Templett n Canva for 1 month. I found Canva allows us to create easier and a lot quicker. And templett is too basic in terms of choice design element and possibility that limited my creation.
What is the easiest platform for customers to use? I have been teaching myself Canva..after using other design tools, and I find Canva to be a bit overwhelming on desktop and the design tools are spread out. For a customer who may not have any experience with design or Canva, this may be problematic. It takes time to learn a design platform, where to locate the color pallettes, move elements around, center stuff, etc...
What about people just copying your designs so you worry about that? Templett you can stop that from what I can tell but it's so limited on elements etc. Corjil seem to have no elements to me
In my experience people tend to copy the design concept :( and anyone can purchase the same clipart and they can recreate your designs. Its sad but its the truth
Where are you getting the $29 fee amount from for Corjl? I just checked and for beginners it's between $9.99 to $12.99 per month, less than half of what you are quoting.

Thanks for this video, I already use canva so I'm happy to keep using it and start doing digital downloads through there as well. I had seen some businesses using templett so I wasn't sure if it was a better user experience for the client, but this has reassured me to stick with canva :-)

Ive been thinking about templett buty I have always use Canva but they have a limit as far as resizing images like for redbubble but I do like Canva overall, it just so easy to use
I recently signed up with Templett and their Monthly fees actually starts fees at 9.99 and the transaction of 0.79 cents which is high plus Etsy fees. Before the 9 .99 didn’t include the customer demo but now it does from what I have see. I do like Canva and use Canva all the time. Thank you for this video.
Have you had any issues with customers being unable to use elements you put in a canva file because they aren't pro members? (Font, graphics, etc.) Also, do Templett or Corjl offer any design elements? Canva is so easy to create a design with (due to the massive library of elements) it's almost ridiculous, but it looks like the other two are mainly designing from scratch.
@@emeshe is there a way canva can see glyphs for customers as designing templates with beautiful glyphs for some of the letters would be idea the only reason i looked at templett and came across your video is because i was looking at the fact templett has the glyphs button that customers can see and adjust to their letters appropriately
I don't know why I didn't consider Canva. I'm moving from a labour intensive customisation of invitations to wanting to offer customise and print-your-own. The only two questions I have is a) how to allow gold foil or metallic ink and b) how to stop a client 'stealing' you design and then reselling it? any suggestions? thank you!
I did customized cards at one poit and yes its very labor intensve. I assume you use Illustrator ar the moment. Youcan't really create layers/shapes here for gold foil :( There is no way to protect from theft, what I do is once every 1-2 months check out Etsy to see if someone copied my desgns.
@@emeshe Thank you. I've spent most of the day figuring out the setup, now I've done it looks like it will work well. Canva really has improved and expanded quickly even since I've started using it a year or so ago. The decision is between the risk of losing control of the designs and being bound by time constraints and only able to do 'so' many sales due to customising/labour. Most of my designs are classic wedding invites (so pretty standard) and the fonts are all commercial licensed, so there is a little bit security (only a little) in that I suppose. Appreciate the response.
I started today with Corjl, but I am confused, is their library so poor like that? I have been using Canva for hobby (the free version) and even though is free, the library is full of nice elements. I was just searching a frame today and there were just few of them. Do I have to create my own simple frames? I'm new to this, so I don't know haha. Thanks!
Hi Josi! Most graphics need to be imported into Corjl so you can bring in ones you have purchased or created. We just released our Graphics Library and are creating and adding more! Our graphics are to help designers get started, but most designers do bring in their own graphics :)
Yes, I don't have much experience with Corjl because of this. I didnt like that they platform at that time didnt have a resource library, but Canva does
I have a flower and bulb company I'm opening up I need a good pretty logo which is good and if I can't do it good enough who is cheap, I didn't like the Fiverr designer so he refunded me al though many say use that site maybe I should try one more person I'm open for suggestions.
Have you seen Jet Templates? I just heard about it. Wondering what you think about that platform. Regarding Corjl, Templett, and Canva. If i create a template and a customer buys it and edits it, does it change the Master template or only the customer copy? Thanks so much.

Is it hard for people to print their digital products created in Canva? Because I’ve had so much trouble with borders not printing correctly. I’ve heard Canva doesn’t translate to printing well?
Thank you for your video, really helpful. I have created my template on Canva and listed on my etsy. I did not use already created templates on Canva, I designed my own. I used Canva's elements (I have subscribed to Canva, so I used pro elements) and my listing got deactivated because of intellectual property. Is it possible this happened because of the elements I've used from Canva pro?
@@emeshe My product was a one-page template for a goal setting. The weird part is, I did not receive email from Etsy regarding to deactivation. I received an order, It was processing for 2 days, I received email from etsy saying that 'Etsy was unable to approve the order and sale has been removed'. After that I have received 'welcome to Etsy' email, and thats all. My account was deactivated..
Canva is taking over everything. The only advantage the others have is the ability of the customer to try out editing the design.. which you cannot do with canva I don't know if it's that big a deal though..?

You said you use Canva Pro for your templates. But if you sell a template that uses Pro elements, your customers must also have a Pro account to access your templates without a watermark. How do you do that?
