@@dylanjahraus Thank you for replying! Honestly, I tried creating a shop for POD and found the Etsy listing process very overwhelming for that purpose. But selling items like this might be right up my alley. I certainly have a passion for flowers! And I’m a full-time at-home writer so I can make the time to get started. I just need to figure out the supply chain and find quality products first, I assume. 😁

I started out with flowers but never got a shop going. I've also been trying to get my pod shop going. I've got all these designs n I've just started listing them ..I've got 2 listed there's got to be a faster way to list so I've been watching videos on how to use "My Designs" software but I feel like that is just slowing me down so help please. Wow! You achieved it. I’ve been trying but so many things get in my way including myself! But I’m still trying. I’m trying to save up to be able to start a business and or pay someone to help me make it work. This is such a cute business you have too!
I sold bespoke silk wedding bouquets and head wreaths on Etsy for 5 years. I was always busy, but had a hard time scaling and making a profit because all my customers wanted unique items, so I couldn't order quantity and mass produce. Looking back, I probably should have approached it differently. I switched to wreath bows in 2014 and average 50k revenue annually, but now it is a saturated market, and my hands can't handle the volume any longer, so it isn't scalable for me. Definitely would be interested in selling silk flowers. I was a fresh and silk flower designer at a large florist shop for 10 years, and that is where my heart lies. @@dylanjahraus @dylanjahraus I started my first Etsy shop in 2010 because my sister asked me to join her. I had been a professional florist and also a hobby crafter, so I thought I could use my creativity to get out of the 8-5 office job. I was able to quit my day job in 2018, moved to a home with a shop and warehouse and went full out. But we lost everything in a fire in 2019. I restarted afterwards, but at a much smaller scale and I am feeling like I need to pivot to a different product niche. Thank you for your inspirational videos!

Hello, Yes I would be willing to sell silk flowers. I have used them in the past to make wreaths. Selling supplies is a great idea, there are so many to choose from. Thanks for all the videos they are really informative, I'm trying to get through them all.

@@dylanjahraus I had a brick & mortar store and I had to close it due to poor sales. As a result, I also stepped away from the Etsy realm, too. Funny thing, most of my “good” sales actually came off of the Etsy platform!
@@dylanjahraus OMG... I'm so sorry, I'm just NOW seeing this message! Ugh. And THAT'S part of my problem... lack of focus! I'd like to get back ASAP. I think it's the "list" of things I know I need to do and to get set up. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to make my forms editable on the consumer side. I've already created a couple of digital forms that I would like to sell on Etsy. I also have a boat load of jewelry that I would like to list, but I need to set up a spot to take GOOD photos. And then there's downloading the photos and editing. My phone camera stinks and I'm not sure I even have the wires to connect my phone to my computer. I'm realllllly good at finding obstacles to my being able to move forward. :/ But, I will get there... eventually....

@@dylanjahraus Thank you so much !☺️🌻I only have 2 listings ,the 1st mystery box I’ve sold 242 of ,and the other 329 mystery boxes.It was going well ,but the last 30 days I’ve only sold 6 orders/boxes.😟I know it starts slowing down around some months ,but I was a little discouraged,also when the cart gets emptied I always feels likes it takes a little time to get cart holders then I start getting sells again,I don’t know if that makes sense ,like when you have over 20 people who have there item in your cart ,then the cart eventually gets emptied this is what I mean ,but on the bright side I’m still getting notifications for these 2 favorited listings the sells have just slowed down .

@@dylanjahraus I thank God for finding your channel ,I use to sell thrifted items it was Okay ,but very very slow then I started selling the mini mystery boxes and I would sell some ,but it was slow as well then after I discovered you ,I implemented putting different sizes of mystery boxes for an option then my sells blew up which was crazy awesome I was able to help support my family ,and kids.☺️🌻I’m not sure 🤔 how to go about it ,…but I have been thinking about scheduling a call soon ,because I’m ready to take my shop to the next level ,and learn more ,I don’t have an Instagram,but I see that you have a website ,I have heard so much about your new course ,and I’m so inspired,and motivated already !

Through the years, Etsy has benefited me more as a platform to be found by others, like third party wholesalers and hotels looking for artwork for their lobbies, etc. I’ve been a pro landscape photographer for over a decade and love it, but have struggled to figure out how to make it lucrative. My work is ALL over the place … online, brick and mortar, but that is not a reflection of earnings, unfortunately.
