My very first time vending at an Artist Alley! I was thrilled to go to C2E2 2024 in Chicago. I sold out so many prints and my tote bags and I really surprised myself with how much $$ I made. I couldn't have done it without my bestie, ‪@ccsartcafe‬.

So happy to see you go to your first artist alley. This video was super informative and helpful, you covered things that other artists usually don't. I had the same thought when artists say "this was a mid-con for me", I wonder what does that mean for them in terms of sales, because that can be totally different for other people. I truly love your art and it inspires me to keep drawing. I hope you see how talented you are and how beautiful is your art.

subbed! this was such a fun and informative vlog, and you guys are so real for the food section LMFAOO whenever i travel for cons, the gang and i always prepare an itinerary for every meal KEKW also congrats on the first con! i'm currently prepping for my first event as well and this was such a nice thing to watch while doing so hehe

It was such a cozy vlog to watch, you spoke very clearly and everything was so easy to understand :) All the info you dropped was very helpful, especially for people traveling to conventions by flights and need to pack everything up tight. I love your display! Where do you get your signs printed/laminated? Also, where did you get your tablecloth and fabric runner? Also, do you take venmo? I'm considering getting rid of venmo since I'd have to pay sales tax myself, but not sure if I'd lose out on sales that way

Sorry for the late reply! My signs were printed and laminated at Staples. I squeezed as many signs as I could onto a big 18x24 sheet and cut them out myself. My tablecloth was just an amazon purchase. The runner is from an Etsy Seller who made custom runners - they don't appear to have their shop open right now, but there are many custom table runner shops to choose from! For payments, I use Square for credit cards, and paypal and venmo. Some people have also requested I start taking Zelle. I always think it's better to have as many options as possible if you're able to! It can definitely be tricky to figure out sales tax, but I recommend looking up the sales tax rate for the state where you're vending and incorporating it into your pricing. You can say $10 + tax for prints and customers will understand!
