Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank visits Salon Posta and then sits down with me about Pete & Pedro. Hear what he has to say about my appearance on Shark Tank as well as the future of Pete & Pedro. Kevin has some serious questions for me, and I have some important questions for him. He also discusses what happened post-pandemic about the old 'at any cost' growth metric as well as profitability, cash flow positive, customer acquisition cost, attrition, return on advertising spend, and rate hikes.
Later, Kevin discusses how venture capital and private equity purchases are down. He lays it on the line about how Pete & Pedro should grow, its focus on profitability, and how the company can become a legacy business. The bottom line is that Pete & Pedro needs to hold the line regarding profitability and tweak advertising constantly. The current model has the lowest acquisition cost and the highest return on advertising spend. It's not about growth at any expense; it's about profitability.

@loktaroghar most times deals don’t fall through since a handshake isn’t enough, another thing is a lot of exact details of the deal are discussed afterwards and unfortunately that’s where most of the disagreements happen to make the deal fall off

Currently 28 years old, I've been following Alpha for a little over a decade now. It's a beautiful thing to see his constant growth as a businessman while continuing to promote self-care and self-confidence through practices that have shaped many respectable men throughout the years. Kevin providing really good points on what is important, but this is purely from an investor perspective. If the goal is to get to e.g. 50 million in sales with 25% profitability, the most efficient route is to scale the sales first and later profitability. 15% of 50 million is more cake than 25% of 25 million. On the other hand if your goal is to sell the company with the best price in the near future, highly profitable growth is the way to go.

If you're making $9m/ year based on a revenue multiple, you are easily worth at least $18-20 million or $27m and eCommerce businesses in the market usually sell for 2-3x multiple of their ARR, on the flip side, the highest selling businesses are still saas businesses that are sold around 5x-8x or even 10x their ARR

Idk how you in the u.s make your evaluation but if a business makes 2,5 mil under the mentioned circumstances you should be definitely selling it for more than 10 mil, otherwise it would be the absolutely greatest deal for the buyer.

Aaron don’t listen to all the “do more entrepreneurial videos” people. I watch for your fashion advice/purchasing advice. While it was nice to hear the nuts and bolts/how the sausage is made talk, I didn’t learn anything that could help me. You recommended collars and co., I bought 2 of their shirts and I look so much better. In conclusion, once in a while it’s great to do a video like this.
