lmfao selly is so honest but also I understand why he's so confused cause corporate vtubers basically have own characters and those characters have a certain age. I mean it's basically their job to play that character which means in like lauren case, he's just a person playing the lauren iroas character. That does not mean their personality or whatsoever is 100% fake, just means they have boundaries.

I get selly here, im not often in vtuber stuff and when i am its usually vspo which is more laid-back ish, so i have no clue when or why something may be insensitive. Even more because of how the culture shifts across the sea too. Seems like they rly care abt maintaining that character or img

selly slapping hard cold truth which can make their viewers realized it is true and very possible. . no one knows if vtubers in 5 years will change their market due to ai dominating content creations. its very possible there will be some of them still streaming in 10 years ahead. . but lets be real most ppl when reaching 40s usually find more fulfilling work after they are satisfied with younger age works. ppl can get bored of something they love at some point

Selly was looking at it from his own point-of-view and didn't realise the difference in career between them. He's coming from a pro gamer background, compared to Lauren/Astel/Ramuchi, they are entertainers first and foremost, and that comes with the baggage around stuff like idol-otaku culture, parasocial behavior etc etc.. So bringing up the topic of quitting is a bit of a tough subject to discuss for one half of the room, and them not wanting to insight any of the drama that would come around it.

And not mention the diff in culture too. Selly is Korean. I saw many clips of the KR members in Crazy Racoon being super confuse about otaku culture and language barrier too. Poor selly they're making him more confuse. Mondo will straight up said they are weird(jokingly of course). Tho CPT the poor boy will just believe everything.
