Selsey East beach for the chance of a cod

Took a trip to selsey as there has been several reports of codling starting to turn up.
It was dog fish from the start and it was very much looking like a dog fish fest but the evening produced a thorn back ray and a conger eel as well.
No cod in the end but it is still early in the season .
