Yep I got mine delivered a couple of months back with the same options as the one in this video for $449. The finishing and QC is far above what I expected. I would warn potential buyers that the dial is difficult to read in lowlight conditions given how thin the hands are, but I doubt that would surprise many. However weighing that situation negative against the cascade of positives like the fact that you're getting a quality Miyota movement with a Day/Night Complication, Gorgeous Custom Rotor & Sapphire Front & Back, Heat Blued Hands, Perfectly Competent Strap and or Bracelet and of course a true Meteorite Dial with Lacquered Indices all for $449 you can only marvel at the value and how far Microbrands have come in the last decade. Even a value-centric brand like Seiko would be asking $2000+ for something with equivalent specs.

Really nice looking watch but if it is using a miyota movement why is it so thick. A dress watch with 50m wr really shouldn't be 13mm thick.

Hello Wayne, this is Leonardo from Selten. As we are using Miyota 9132 which it has a thickness of 5.72mm. And we use custom rotor, a 1mm thick indices on the dial, the circular ring on the hour hand, here has been added more than 1mm extra thickness to the watch. Hope that makes sense to you.🙌🏼

@@waynesellers4078 I agree with Wayne. The watch is just LOVELY but the thickness is a deal breaker for me. I'd definitely take a look if it were closer to 12mm (the max for comfortably fitting under a dress cuff imo) - maybe achieved with a manual wind version!

I love that they tell you which meteorite they used as that really makes the watch feel more special. They picked the famous Muonionalusta Meteorite which is the oldest known meteorite at 4.565 Billion years old. The Meteorite is literally older than Earth itself which is 4.543 Billion years old. Doesn't that blow your mind? As it entered the atmosphere it began breaking up and crashed into the Scandinavian region about 1 million years ago. So far they've found about 40 parts of the meteorite. Oh and regarding the incredible Widmanstatten pattern that Nickel/Iron Meteorites can develop. The pattern cannot be reproduced in a lab or anything like that so it literally only exists in Meteorites as it is the result of the various metals within the meteorite cooling down at absurdly slow rates of like 1 Degree Celsius every 10 Million Years. As the Nickel/Iron alloys cool at this ridiculously slow speed they take on a crystalline structure resulting in the truly unique and extraordinary Widmanstatten pattern.

Nicely done as always. I snagged the 01 with the slender steel handset on the KS EB and couldn't believe that this would be as nice as it is once delivered. I planned to pass this to my son but decided to keep it and sent him a Zelos meteorite diver since that was redundant in my collection. I passed on the day/night since it didn't really seem functional... Though it does look cool. If I didn't have this already, I would likely snag it at $499.

@WatchChris Just got one of these with an aventurine dial and needle hour and minute hand. The disc at 6 O'Clock is not a say night but a 24 hour indicator as it rotates once 360 degrees every 24 hours. So, it can be a 24 hour indicator. It is so well made and looks fantastic.

not a fan of the brand name again (as with the soldat watch). in German Selten means rare. As a native German speaker, the names sound silly to me. the watch looks pretty good though

Don’t like the name plaque and should have some AR coatings. Don’t know what’s going on but all your photography seems out of focus so can’t see how good that watch is I’m sorry
