I don’t know about you guys but having chip look over my work. Damm that be nerve racking after seeing some of foose designs. Great work everybody at SEMA on the scene and behind the scenes !
Chip you have completed so many beautiful cars . Not looking for a sema build just a beautiful car . Proud owner of a 1969 mustang coupe. It would be a true dream come true to have that overhauled.. I commend you for all your great work...
I would love to see SEMA open to the public. It would translate to more people wanting to either compete or at least make their ability to do their own thing!!!
In 1990, I used Glasurit to paint my 1980 Mk1 Ford Fiesta Decor in Red (Guards Red). We hand sanded the entire car to glass, but decided not to clear coat. It was truly stunning! In 2014, I sold the car looking like the day I painted it. I have many pics and attended many shows with it. The only thing that was bad is if I got caught in a summer's rainstorm where raindrops would sit on the car in the sun after the storm. The drops would act like magnifiers and temporarily cause thousands of pink dots in the paint until the car could sit in the sun and bake them out. Prolly should have clearcoated it in hindsight. Even so, the car looked amazing and it caused conversation wherever it stopped.
BASF is the best paint in the industry, I was trained on it in the early 90’s it matched and was the easiest to use it cost a little more but you get what you pay for.
This was great! Stunning cars all around. Only wish Chip would have walked us through what he was looking at and explained, not in detail, what set the cars apart. .. Maybe next year.
I dont know why but i'd like the finale build cost of these n roadster show etc, for nothing more than a back drop n shout out to all the peeps in the hobby/industry n their endless pouring out of time/money /lives at any level☺
I used to have an F-150 truck 08 if used to be my toy but couldn't finish putting things into it then I bought a GMC 08 1500 Sierra dropped I'm trying my best to put airbags and make it my toy and cruising truck but things always come up in my life hope someday I could ever wish you can finish doing my dream
I have a 1940 Rat Rod pickup that has been painted with a vacuum cleaner that was put in reverse.........Im sure if it was there it would have made the top 3........haha Toddy B NZ
