I get what you mean here about it sounding the same and him finding a niche that he's sort of sticking with, I feel like Sematary's sound evolved so much from the beginning 'till now, like every single tape he made had a new sound and as of now it's sort of slowing down. Like a couple of years ago he would release two tapes a few months apart and they would sound really different, where as now it's becoming slightly more predictable. I really hope this isn't a recurring thing and he continues to innovate with his music moving forward. You could also say he's under a lot of stress though, like he's on the Greyday tour right now doing shows basically every other day and at the same time he's trying to make and drop tons of new music, edit videos, make beats, cover arts and work on his friends' tapes too. He's the only one in Haunted Mound that actually mixes vocals so he's juggling a lot of things at once, I've sort of just been thinking he's having a kind of "writers block" situation because he's burning himself out so much. He needs to chill out and just find himself because his work ethic is crazy.
your reaction to this video has me laughing so hard bc you’re so right , you know i’m a big sematary fan but i 100% agree with you about him just making the same shit
They need to experiment much more with their sound, I feel like Ghost Mountain really helped with that... but now he's gone lmao, ig we will just have to wait for the warboy remaster, that is by far his best solo work.
That’s interesting bcs for the fans this is a complete new sound from sematary that a lot of them arent liking. This might his most polarizing phases in his career. The other song son the upcoming tape that this song is on and promoting does have a new sound in my opinion. As a song it’s rlly turnt and Catchy I like it. But for a sematary song it can be seen as not up there. But it’s agreed the vid and content of the song is lazy
