Hi Simon, great videos. My reader is coming up with fault code 78. Turn ignition on, dash board lights come on but nothing else happens. The fluid bottle was totally empty, not sure where it's gone. Any ideas,? Do you take work on? Cheers Andy
Hi Simon! Excellent video. I have clio mk2, 2003, petrol engine with Quickshift 5. Today the system has stopped changing rear gear. 1 to 5 work great in manual and A mode. When I try to shift R, it returns to N and a strange electronic noise appears. Any idea what is the problem? Thanks in advance!
@@controlfreak6748A friend of mine's just read the faults: 2g- computer (3 times); 9g- at selector lever position:forbidden, 20d-accelerated idle request output, short circuit. Any idea? 🤔
Hi Simon, excellent videos mate. Looking at changing all the fluids on my fiat ducato 160 multijet motrohome, I understand totally what you're saying about the fluid in the hydraulic reservoir, as its an hydraulic system not an atf one therefore it has to be a certain grade to build the right pressure. I did find on a german site, saying you can use liquid moly hydraulic oil in this system. Whats your thoughts on this please? And i was going to change the manual box to castrol syntrans 75-85w GL4. Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks Julian.
Hi my best advice is to stick to selespeed fluid. CS Speed by fiat. It works at both high and very low temperature. As for your manual gearbox I’m not up on what’s best for them. Hope this helps Simon.
hi young man, we have a hard metallic noise from the easytronic and a oil leakage from there. Gear changing is normal. Is there a defect at the pump? greetings Jan

Hi we have a fiat ducato motorhome, when its stone cold it has a hard gear change, thumps bangs changing through the gears when cold it is a 2015 Semi Automatic and once it becomes warm it changes like it should no banging or thumping any ideas we can check?
Check the progressivity on the clutch in live data. Get her up to temp put her in fist the hold the revs on where you feel the clutch bite with foot on brake and handbrake on. Like a hill start but hard. Hold for 15-20 seconds. Then test when cold. Sounds like clutch wear and as clutch expands with heat it take up the slack.
Hi Simon, you are pro ! I have an reno trafi 2011 whith quickshift, and i have a small shock when change from 1st to 2 and gear. Is a problem from quichshift or from cluch,ambreiaj?
@@controlfreak6748 hi, i change te accumulator and the pressure senzor and afther that it burns 2 time the electrical safety 30A. i put one with 40 A and this rezisst. But afther that, 3 days, the led with chech gearbox appers and i change manual only till home. From that moment 1 mounth i couldn't start or put into the gear......and in a stormy day i try again...the yelow led disapear and starts like normal,and now is ok. But i have that small shock which i rezolve with a small release of gas pedall. So? What can it be wit french ledy? Thank you. Sorry for my english
Really need a fault code. However if you are blowing 30 amp fuse your pump is struggling. Either the filter is blocked in the back where the hydraulic pipe goes into the 21 mm nut. Or the motor or pump on top is seizing. No pressure no start. And when the weather got cold 🥶 the pump freed itself. Change pump.

You seem to have clutch fault I would check small reservoir for dot 4. And also check ev0 solenoid. If your robot is leaking the check pressure in live data. 49-50 bar.

Go into functions run accumulator discharge.. the rear reservoir should now be full to the top. Us a syringe 300ml and a length of bleed tube and suck it out . Us speedmatic only to replace do not use Tqf or atf and especially do not use dot 4 to refill. You will only got 90% of the fluid out this way. Note that after replacing and running your new fluid will go dark until you repeat process two to three times. So best to remove fluid and only replace with small amounts until fluid come back to reservoir clear then top up ..
