Way back in season 24 when Sasha and Emma were still a thing people were thinking they would both make the finale. Emma eventually won with Rashad Jennings and Sasha was cut just before the finale with Simone Biles (unjustly imo)

Back in season 18 Both Peta and Maks were in finale but they were not married

Adriana is a two time national dance champion and former Disney Princess. Xochitl has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She has appeared in 22 musical theatre productions..... I'm rooting for Pasha's ASS! That man has a pretty backstory.

I'm a new watcher so I don't really know the full rules, but they say at the beginning that they listed the results in no order. So were they actually the bottom two or just two random teams (and for rounds where there are eliminations, is the second team actually the one with the second least votes or just another team)?

Ariana did as well. She went from clapping with the utmost joy for Alyson making it to the final to realizing that it might be her being eliminated.

For me it's Alyson + Jason+ Xochiti the other two are fine and have dance great. But I want see the legitimate celebrities as the top 3 not the two reality stars. For an upset I'm thinking Xochiti and Alyson as the final two as they have good fan bases that pushed them into this final as well as memorable dance routines. Xochiti is my pick to win.😊

@@hudsongraham2603 Sadly Alyson was given no choice but to finish 5th thanks to judges scores. She was underscore for the last weeks of the competition. I loved her freestyle!! Good Job Sasha showing off her strong points. But I thought Xochiti and Jason freestyle needed better content. Congratulations Xochiti and Val The Champs!!!

To be fair they never explicitly said the bottom two, so I assume having 5 constestants in the finale was pre-planned. Especially considering since the start of the show Ariana and Xochitl were never in the position of being the last two contestants being called out.

The 2 or 3 couples given the final results at the end of the episodes are not the bottom 2. they always say "while not necessarily the bottom 2..." before announcing the results. the final couples are the bottom couple with some random couple for the results (not really random tho, more like strategic). this week, since there was no elimination, it's highly likely neither Xochitl or Ariana were the bottom couple. they just announced it that way strategically for good TV.

The last sentence is SOOO true. Like it was kinda genius on the producer's part to make it seem like the 2 top dancers were at risk of being eliminated and their goal of freaking everyone out worked bc EVERYONE WAS STRESSED! But I still am kind of annoyed bc of how ariana was trying so hard not to cry and xochitl was trying to put on a brave faceee like it truly made me want to throw up...
