Hey Adam I also wanted to win gift card . Yours great fan from India 🇮🇳 Do come to visit Nanded's Gurudwara 2nd largest in india and I will also play a match with you and u and I go on a city tour
I’ve only just found this channel and am loving it a lot! What a great way to get some table tennis tips from many of the best while having a laugh - great job Adam!
Absolute pleasure getting to watch you two play and enjoy/smile through it! She represents herself, her country, and the game in the grandest of ways. Phenomenal young woman, and she has a great friend in you obviously…
The taiwanese 人情味 (warm-hearted kindness) of these ladies just oozes through the screen. She's one of the top players in the world but still super down to earth and clearly very kind. No place like Taiwan man.
For people don't speak Chinese: The Chinese characters on I-Ching's T-shirt, which drew on Adam's face as well, is "挺静". "挺" is a fashionable way to express the meaning of "support", "静" is the last character of her name, means quiet/silent/calm/peaceful. The pronunciation is "Ting Ching", indeed quite close to "Team Ching".
As a Taiwanese, i appreciate he played with her. Thanks Adam!! I love how you communicate with all of the ping pong pros in the world. Greetings from Taiwan :)))
Man, I really love this beautiful matches. Through you, Adam, I discovered this humble, talented and nice champion, Cheng I Ching. I am an amateur table tennis player, but thanks to you and your exploits, my interest has increased and this sport has become one of my favorites. My handle is the oriental one. I can't wait to see your other videos and to have even more desire to improve in this beautiful and immense sport that I have recently discovered. Take care and long live Team Ching! 🏓♥ 💪🏻
Awesome! I am really touched to read this and thrilled as well. I-Ching is awesome and deserves all of the love that she gets from fans around the world and more. Glad to have you in the sport and thanks for being part of this community! 8>D
So nice to be able to learn more about the players personalities through your great videos !! Adam you are really my idol and I love your mentality. Can't wait to see I-Ching at the women's world cup !! 加油 !! 🏓🏓🏓
@@AdamBobrow I won't miss any of it !! Supporting Xu Xin because you like to see him play is one thing, but friendship is way stronger. Meanwhile you are always impartial when you commentate a match, I wonder how you manage that !
@@chimyshark I've wondered about that. I notice in the top pro games they resort to lobs only in desperation. It seems the top pro offense beats the top pro lobs.
@@davefoc yeah dude, loops are directed and aimed shots with top spin that causes the ball to drop onto the table, whereas lobs are not only less-practiced, but they have such long flight times that they're inevitably extremely variable and require a lot more faith than skill to hit the table.
8:39 9:17 and many other cases: i don’t know too much about table tennis but here, why did she not just hit in the side he is not standing..? The ball was going slow as well. Is there a rule or something I’m missing?
Cheng I-Ching is in a class of her own. Compared to ALL Adam's other opponents, it was all about shot placement. With each shot of hers, Adam was further and further out of control until he just couldn't recover. Nice!
5:49 pretty good touch here Adam. I figured a chop smash vs the usual topspin might get ya but you can fish these back (even thought on this point you counter looped) all the same just as well. Again, great touch & feeling.
I feel like Adam needs better shoes or something. Everytime I see him sliding, I think he's gonna have a Zion Williamson like shoe blow out moment (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QZYhMZhwpjU.html).
@@tonyping3678 well I mean, yeah, that's kinda expected. She is # 8 in the world. As good as Adam is, he is a showman, he plays for entertainment, not necessarily to win.
One thing I've noticed from watching you play pros is, they do not waste any movement. Everything is so mechanical. It's absolutely amazing and shows how much discipline they have in practice and in training!
I think the reason people like adam is obvious, with his love and passion for the game they also love. But i think they enjoy playing him because hes so different from the normal smash and block power players they normally face, so its an interesting challenge and fun escape from normal competition. great stuff mate.
It’s good that the commentator knows the players personally or even good friends, Adam you are the man., by knowing them, it makes the commentating more vivid and more interesting to watch and listen to!
You are the best inspiration for a person with a simple life making his her life different . Tt seemed to me a lot serious game earlier and I played Seriously but after watching your videos I play to with fun by making jokes in between, thank you so much it's really motivating seeing you have fun in table tennis.!!
Thank you so much, Anurag!!! I am super happy to learn that. I hope even those who are the hardest working and the best in the world can show us how much they truly enjoy it in some of the televised matches as well. And for all of us who don't make our living competing... it's especially important that we enjoy it. 8>). Thanks again! 8>D
I feel like Adam miss the 10-9 serve on purpose. Still great though, I love the kindness of I Ching. I will root for her on the next tournament, except when she face Mima-chan
Thank you so much!!!! Regards to Russia from Taiwan. I recently got obsessed watching "Schoolboy" the arm-wrestling sensation from Russia and it made me miss my Russian TT friends. Send my best to the Russian TT family. 8>D спасибо и береги себя 8>)
I was so hyped to see this video appear on my subscriptions feed, then 2 minutes later I see adam crashing in the barries and I am like "omg not again, we will never see the end of this match!" haha
hahaha. Yeah. I don't keep my balance as well as the pros. 8>D (that thought is hilarious though... after TWO POINTS... "sorry guys...part 4 coming soon" hahaha.
Honestly just by pure coincidence I watched one of her matches during the olympics and thought they she seemed to be very mean for lack of a better way of putting it. I’m so glad I was wrong. She seemed to be completely awesome as a player but more so as a person.
Watching your vids make me feel so happy! Damn I miss playing table tennis. I was a school representative back when I was in my high school. My 10k Php racket got stolen after a competition and made me quit playing because I can’t afford another one 😞
Adam hopefully your visa issues are resolved soon, cuz we really miss your commentary on the world's best, your experience and expertise on the game was definitely missed during the world cup. The energy you bring through the commentary to hype us all during the course of the matchea was also missed :-(... Hope to see you back soon! :-) #thevoiceoftabletennis
What a amazing Match 😳‼️💪 So Nice to watch ❗ Thank you Adam 🤗 One of the best Challenge Matches from you ❤️❗ This Woman have an Insane Power❗ 😱😱🔥💪 These smashes are sooooPowerful ... unbeliviable 😨!
Just love watching your table tennis adventures! Thanks for all the content! I can't believe you are 13xx on the rankings. You started to play late, or just plays unregularly? Because with these skills I think you should be in the top 100.
Thanks!!! Let's see. I played with some... and Heming and I have tried many times to coordinate... but hopefully soon. Really looking forward to coming back. Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy!!! 8>)
@@AdamBobrow You made my day by replying back. You have such an awesome and humble personality bro. More love from us. Cheers. Good Luck for your upcoming videos. We'll be eagerly waiting to cheer them up again.
Cheng I-Ching seems super likable, so first I wanted her to win, but the punishment for her would've been so funny that I started rooting for Adam. So disappointed he lost, it would've been too funny
Sorry Adam, I only learned about you through RU-vid, so I’m not aware of your table tennis career. But you can (sort of) keep up with the best players on earth lol....I’m sure we would all appreciate an origin story from you, like have you ever gone pro?
I love this video and it even has Yoruba subtitle. I wish you can also have this fun and time with my brother also (Quadri Aruna). Adam Borrow🇺🇸,much love from Nigeria🇳🇬. ❤💯🏓
Thanks! Much love TO Nigeria! I am a fan! I added Yoruba thinking of my time in Nigeria and with Quadri. I consider Quadri a dear friend and have played with him more than most of the pros (because he's so nice to me 8>). I hope to come back to Nigeria, to play with many players there and when the world starts traveling more again, I hope to make a video with Quadri Aruna as well. 8>D
Hey Adam, where were you for the ittf world cup? You've become the spirit of table tennis adam, and we missed you soo so much in the world cup. It was lifeless without you there. Could you please commentate on the last 6 matches of the world cup for us please, Plz Plz. Thanks so much if you do ♥.
Thanks for you super kind words. I was supposed to be there and worked like crazy for weeks overnight to try and secure a visa. It was very confusing. challenging and frustrating during these times... so I was quite disappointed when I learned that I couldn't be there. That said, I know that is was a struggle for many involved and they had their hands SUPER full... so despite some personal disappointment, I was thankful that they were able to put on the events and we could see the stars battling again. I look forward to commentating again as soon as possible. 8>). Thanks a bunch for the love and support. ♥
@@AdamBobrow Damn, u responded that's like super Kool. I hope table tennis keep having legends like you. Your passion for table tennis is super encouraging and delightful and your commentaries well, it makes table tennis feel as amazing a sport as basket ball and soccer or even superior. Keep up the great works Adam, much respect and love.
I would LOVE to! I have been trying to coordinate coming to Iran for a long time. I think when it's safer to travel again... Iran is a place I must make a plan to visit. I have many Iranian friends and incredible experiences with Iranian people... so I am excited to visit and play lots of TT. 8>)
