I think you are correct. Any kind of systematic approach to Bible study whether for seminary, Bible lesson or sermon preparation and even bible memorizing can get to be more intellectual than a filling of our hearts with Christ. Perhaps each study session should include study breaks with the Lord where we meditate and talk to Him about what we are studying.
