I draw distance versus semivariance plots for my own data. I can't select sill, nugget, and range because my plot is somewhat scarred. My first point is higher than the other points. Is this a problem? I select the model as Sph, sill = 1 and range = 0.005. But I got the warning message like singular model in variogram fit. How to solve it?
Thank you so much! This really helped me so much! Just a question: is there a way to authomatically fit the model without having to insert the parameters manually? Because I need to use kriging for multiple years and multiple variables and to do it manually it would take me really a long time. Thanks
which version of R and Rstudio is this? I keep getting this error message when I compute the gstat::variogram function Error in gstat(formula = object, locations = locations, data = data) : argument "object" is missing, with no default
Is there any tutorial anywhere that teaches how to first convert your raw data (long, lat, data) into the appropriate input files? All these tutorials use builtin datasets which doesn't make it clear how to even obtain the right data formats given a CSV or table of datapoints and data.
