Hold up, slow way down. Our economy is not slowing down, that is a lie. Our posture is not the worst it's ever been, it's the best it's ever been since WW2. That is simply a fact, and including the fact that Gaza is an Israeli-driven disaster for our image, because we have been doing right in Ukraine, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Israel (as far as their existence and safety is concerned). Also, this isn't "we didn't learn anything from that," we aren't engaged in any kinetic conflicts, in a reflection of those lessons. That is one of the boons of Biden as president, someone who, according to the Hurr report, railed against surging troops to Afghanistan back in 2009. Biden has been firmly against foreign engagements that aren't directly beneficial, probably driven by him coming of age during the Vietnam domestic debacle. All that said, yes, Israel is bloodthirsty AND MUST change course. There was a great comment in NYT that talked about the US starting to move to a new ally in the region, because if Israel grows as a liability, then we must remain flexible in our alliances in the region. And that is before getting into the reduction of the Middle East as an important region because of our energy independent reality and that we are the largest producer in the world of hydrocarbons.

We have lost any moral standing we had left in the world because of Israel. We have also been shown to be the biggest hypocrites between Israel and Ukraine. Not even our biggest ally the UK will vote with us at the UN. About Biden and foreign conflicts…he has always been for them before he became against them. He supported Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, …. About Israel being replaced as our closest ally in the Middle East…that’s not going to happen in our lifetime. You’re right that we don’t depend on their hydrocarbons like we have in the past, but Europe does. Plus the Israel lobby is too influential in the US to let that happen. Don’t forget that Biden is the top recipient - uno #1 - of Israel lobby money.🤷‍♀️

Sadly in war there are always collateral deaths but in this case they are primarily the responsibility of Hamas who started the war with a horrific war crime and still strategically and directly target their own rather than accept anything less than a full victory against Israel.

Well then, they should let the UN investigators in to confirm or deny these allegations. You know that they won't do that because they have to hide the evidence of their crimes.
