You know you're in a final dungeon when there's huge dragons and stone golems as regular enemies.

You know you're near the end when the music doesn't change when you get into battles.

This is one of the best final dungeon themes in any jrpg, and the fact that it plays through battles intensifies the atmosphere.

2:15 this part hits different

Been two months since I finished ToCS 1, and about 3 weeks since completed ToCS 2, both for the first time. I'm still humming/whistling, and listening to the OSTs all this time on. I have never, ever, in my near 36 years of life heard such an awesome game soundtrack. Such a beautiful and interesting use of violin against the rock guitar.

I like all of the Trails franchise OST, but this one and Great Power resound so much in me. Maybe because it's the beginning of a growing journey for the Class Vll, where they'll become strong enough to not be looked down on and go toe to toe with some of the most powerful individuals in the series. I grew up with the Trails series, but Class Vll feels much more personal because I felt I'm having the same journey as them. My favorite franchise of all time. If you happen to stop upon this comment and OST by pure coincidence, take my advice and play this awesome series. Cheers.

I'm not even to this dungeon, yet I can't stop listening to this. I hope the final dungeon itself is epic as well. UPDATE: Can confirm, final dungeon is epic as well.

Brings back memories of me trying to beat this dungeon at 5am lol the music really got me pumpped and kept me going.

How can one combine rock/metal with trance music elements and melodic game music so perfectly?

I usually attribute this piece of music to Emma, starting out as a sub par mage at the beginning of the game to absolutely wrecking enemies at the end of it

The one and only time I could really enjoy using Crow in my party to it's fullest. He's so badass and never let me down when something need to get thrashed!

I really felt it when this thing started playing. I knew this was it. The 'electronic metal' fusion is so cool. Only the Falcom music team can create stuff like this.

This game has amazing soundtracks, but this one just takes the cake for #1. Easily one of the best final dungeon musics ever

This final dungeon was really fun but man those dragons really were nasty at first.....and the big ass golems had me shook at first too haha the music just inspired me to push on however.

This dungeon gave me FFXIV vibes - with its Crystal Tower/World of Darkness layout and the awesome soundtrack.

섬궤 특유의 마지막 거대 던전 브금에 딱 잘 어울림. 모두가 힘을 합쳐 고난과 역경을 돌파하는 느낌

Brilliant final dungeon theme. Among the best, quite honestly. Jindo at the top of his game as always.

Beats like the opening remind me of the second phase of the final boss in a hat in time 😅 surely I'm not the only one?

Wow. I'll be honest, I've seen this game on a stream and it looked pretty generic and bland... but damn the soundtrack is absolutely amazing. Gives me Valkyrie Profile's vibes at times. It's like progressive video game music.

Better than Phantasm Blaze

Just reached one of the final major dungeons in cold steel 3 and it made me return to this simply to admire how vastly superior it was to what 3 is doing with music. This theme destroys the music from 3 in epicness as well as the fact that it plays through battles. If anything, the battle theme in 3s dungeon is better than the dungeon theme and should have played throughout the whole thing. I still think this is one of the best final dungeon themes in jrpg history.

I'll be honest: I was legit disappointed this served as both the dungeon and battle theme for this place, I was expecting something like what they did in FC and SC where they took a boss theme and turned it into the new normal battle theme. Oh well, it's a pretty good track nonetheless, I just feel like it doesn't work as a battle theme.

I'd much rather be dealing with the situation in Crossbell than trying to save the school festival. Shitty school-anime game...
