Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is an amazing man, having his mind and compassion working on So Many issues that are important in our country and even sometimes globally. His is a brilliant fighter in the Senate. Frankly, I've never witnessed a more dedicated servant for the people, with such a clear and reasonable mind. He seems to be an incredibly honest man with absolutely no self-serving agenda. There should be more like this man in political office.

Thank you for the attempt but the GOP see women as carriers and not as people. Hence even denying medical care in life-threatening pregnancies since if the woman dies and the fetus survives, to their viewpoint all you lost was the container.
Prohibiting free movement for any reason is obsurd. The party of "small government" is willing to employ people to monitor, stop, and police people, but won't help anyone. Some sorry priorities there.
Why would they take away the rights of women in the 1st place? Especially knowing that there's going be many more women now who will die horrifically because they've been denied medical treatment. This is about control, not about "life." If it was about life, why not care about the woman's life? The cruelty of this is their only point. Control is what they want.

100 years ago, American Women GOT THEIR FULL RIGHTS AS CITIZENS. That meant they could hold and inherit money and property. That meant that they could sign legal documents on their own. That meant that they no longer would be forced to accept slave wages or only be offered the lowest, dirtiest jobs in order to pay for their families. I am still alive today and I have volunteered along side another woman who was expected to work all day long, all week long as a small child sharecropping picking cotton in Texas for a nickel a week. Men liked having women as a source of cheap labor. Slowly, the Fascists have undermined the school systems across America. Men in this country have been raised to fail their "tasks of daily living". They know little about the history of the last 100 years or about critical thinking. Unless American Men step up to the plate very quickly, they are going to find themselves without partners playing the same game, but the slave driver, continuing to push for a vanishing reward. American Citizen Voters voted fully believing that they were choosing people who would work for their constituents and Not for someone with bribe money, but one vote at the most. If you don't intend to work for America and Americans, go home. American Women Citizens are NOT Expendible. Women's Health is delicate, especially if she has recently had a viable pregnancy. The word "Abortion'" does NOT MEAN THE SAME THING AS KILLING A VIABLE PREGNANCY. As these new laws have been written, an American Woman would get a far better standard of care in the jungles of Africa than in urban America. Both she and her baby is more likely to live if she got care in Africa. Also, the Woman is more likely to still be capable of having children in the future in Africa. Why? Because a bunch of know-it-all Men wanted to press their advantage on American Women Citizens once again. American Women Citizen Voters, this move against women is coming from the right. While we still have the ability to vote, commit to voting Completely Democratic in the next several election cycles in order to override the gerrymanders and to give the Democratic leadership enough of a majority to finally pass essential legislation. Only then will they be able to truly protect us. We already saw that just a few people in Virginia thwarted the will of the entire country after we had authorized the Equal Rights Amendment to be put into the Constitution. Now, we need a legitimate Congress.

Senator Whitehouse's Freedom to Travel Bill is vital to all Americans, not only to women. Consider this: HOW will a travel ban on pregnant women be enforced? How will Law Enforcement know whether any woman who is driving, walking, jogging or flying over a State border is pregnant before the pregnancy becomes visible? Will every woman be given an over-the-counter pregnancy test at every State border crossing point? Good luck enforcing that in Texas! Will every woman who lives on a State line but works across that line in a different State have to carry monthly Doctor's certificates proving she is not pregnant? Will businesswomen who travel nationally and internationally be subjected to pregnancy tests every time they fly over another State border? Have the Republican supporters of travel ban legislation thought through the problem of 4th Amendment violations of women's protection against SEARCH and seizure? Or is the GOP planning on excluding all females from the Rights and Protections of the Constitution, especially Amendments 1,4,5, and 14? And what about female children who are impregnated by rape? Are all girls who have reached menarche going to subjected to pregnancy tests when their families travel to holiday destinations in other States? STOP THE EXTREME RIGHT WING INSANITY before all Americans lose all their Rights and find the Republicans have torn up the Constitution and replaced Democracy with a Theocratic Totalitarian Full- Surveillance State. That is what happens when fanatics take over the Legislatures of the nation. It's called The Law of Unintended Consequences, the one law that fanatics never consider until they find themselves devoid of their Rights, too.
