Less of a combo exhibition than the first one. Rather, this one showcases more neutral and offensive sequences. Also, I decided to feature Magnets' amazing run from back in August since I feel like he is an underrecognised talent. Of course, I probably ran out of the best of Senaru due to the overhaul on the last compilation for him (unfortunately I am unable to see enough of him at Club Sega Shinjuku!), and as so Kure's Eltnum gets featured in the very last clip.

I struggled so much playin eltnum at first because while I knew her combos my use of neutral moves and footsies/frame traps killed me. But I’m getting better . My defense is still ass but I try to make up for it with offense. Back to the lab! Great vid

I know this is like 2 months old but im learning her now and i wanna be this good haha i mean her combos arent like super hard but they are challenging and its crazy how good they are haha, id literally be shaking if this was me. That pressure is ridiculous mannn!

Yeah her combos do sooo much damage when properly optimised. I've seen Kure get close to 3.6k off of a 5A starter with a purple bullet clip, it's crazy. Make sure to get those simple confirms and fundamentals down firs, then work your way up. I wish you the best @Luna , and thanks for watching!

Jo I've just started playing UNIST a couple days ago and Eltnum is my favorite :D You got any secret strats a noob needs to know? :)

Hi @DerWamslaahr ! Welcome along, I am glad you are giving the game a try. Eltnum's frame trap game is excellent when she's got the purple bullets (you can get purple bullets by doing a 'perfect' reload, that is, timing A B or C after 22C such that it is pressed as the bar is within the white rectangle near your health bar). As so, don't be afraid to use bullet shot specials (IC 236A, 22A, etc.) as you saw the players do in this video. Also, it would be good for you to know that 66B into j.214A is plus on block. This is a great way to keep your opponent honest on wakeup. Finally, start with simple BnBs before you work your way up. It is not productive to start learning the most optimal BnBs while your tech and fundamentals suffer. Best to you on your journey. Remember to take breaks and enjoy yourself :)

Hey thanks man for the tips! That's really helpful :) I know some base bnb,s and usually get the 66C 22B string consistently which is nice. Still need to have a better look on GRD. Oh I've got one more question: At which frames is a move considered safe? I figured maybe -5 but i wasn't sure. Played Tekken for a rather long time and its -10 there so yeah :D Couldn't exactly figure it out while looking at the frame data.

DerWamslaahr yeah so moves are safe if they are at most -5. For example Linne's Hien C (63214C) is -5 on block but you have enough time to block the opponent's retaliation safely. It seems like you are on the right track, but make sure you definitely understand the Grind Grid system otherwise that can be a hinderance to you later on.

Could we see a Nanase compilation? I know both Zawa and Watanabe play good Nanase, but I don't know anyone else off the top of my head.
